Very amiable transaction. Recommended!

This book:
It's not high grade, the cover is detached and it has a chunk missing from the bottom but I found it in my father's warehouse and it got me back into comics and kicked off our small family business.
I PMed the guy who bought it and he said he sold it on eBay. If I ever see it, I'll pay double what I sold it for...it means that much to me!
Kinda like Uncle Scrooge's first dollar he made (or was it a nickel?). That's kinda cool.

Why did I get an e-mail for the shipment of value tier books that I submitted, asking for the mailing address of my not-yet-born great-great-great grandchildren?
By then they'll be worth billions. CGC is actually helping your posterity in the long run. It's a public service, really.

Kind of intimidating to post with some of the collections on here but this is my collection after being in the hobby for almost a year. Big thanks to the forum for the advice and for some great deals.
That's an impressive haul for just a one-year span!! Excelsior!

Sold a low-grade WbN 32 recently. Not anything big-time, but it is a comic I would like to have and I can't see myself shelling out the money for a mid to high-grade copy any time soon. *sigh*

Finishing off a genre!!! Just got this in the mail from boardie Dr. Love. This was the last books that I needed to have all the love and kids type books released from 1/1960 to 12/1979 from Marvel. These books were the hardest to find by far out of any of the comics. Just getting the last book. I had asked anyone I could about it. Emailed dealers. Asked at cons. By luck Dr. Love had one and contacted me and of course didn't want to sell it. He collects EVERY romance type book in high grade. He may never find this book again in high grade. After explaining what I was trying to do. He understood my completist mind set and offered to sell it to me. We agreed if I find a lower grade copy for my collection at some time I would sell him back this book. Really nice of him to agree to this! Thanks Bro!

THANKS alot for posting the pages to the story! It was pretty cool! I would have never cracked the book...so I would have not been able to check that out!
+1! So it's a magical land of leprechauns and miracles. That is really weird and a little bit awesome.

Just got my one win from the Sparkle City auctions.
Tales to Astonish #32 CGC 5.0 WHAT? WHAT? WHAT COULD IT BE THAT CAME UP, OUT OF THE QUICKSAND???
Probably something ordinary and ho-hum. A spoon? Maybe an old shoe? Now I'm REALLY curious.

Not 007....but it's still Bondage, from Australia and Mexico
On their way to my paws in the next couple of weeks....

Nice copies! I always like the Abomination!
One of my early comic memories is reading about mini-Hulk beating the tar out of the Abomination's inner ear in the Peter David/Dale Keown run. The Hulk was my favorite probably due in large part to my being an angry ginger.

So close! What's it gonna be like when you complete this massive set? You think it'll be like a death in the family without the thrill of the hunt? Or will you just turn to another run? Earlier? Later? Seriously, you should start a Marvel museum or something. I wonder how many people in the world have a run like this?

Excellent value. Solidly packed. (thumbs u

She's a real beaut.

Been on a Silver Surfer quest lately, and I bought a lot that came in today. This is the gem of this lot:
Looks better in-hand. High gloss and bone white pages. I'm pretty stoked.

Got this just before prices went through the roof. Overpaid a tad (at the time), but I'm pretty happy in hind-sight:
-
Not really high-grade, but I like these covers:
And I really like the story in 93.

Hope you don't mind if I offer up my lowly offering amongst such esteemed company:

Great pre-heroes group shot! Nice collection!
-
WTTB, bb8!
That's a nice, solid copy!
Thanks man! I must say, though, your collection is epic. My tastes are along the same as yours: bronze and silver Marvel. Except for very rare exceptions, I stick solely to exactly that. Although I haven't tried collecting all 20 years! Holy , man! What an undertaking!
