  1. DD #4, one of the true classic first appearances
  2. Instantly selling like hot cakes http://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_sacat=0&_from=R40&_nkw=Marvel+Premiere+%2347&LH_Complete=1&LH_Sold=1&rt=nc
  3. Thanks , I knew about #66 & #73 but for the sake of a complete group shot, just thought I'd keep them in anyway. I didn't actually know #48 & 52 was Kirby though, so went and checked them out. I just always thought his first issue was #54. Anyway here are his others you mentioned (although of course missing the 54 & 59).
  4. Thanks guys. Only need a #54 and #59 to complete Kirby's entire TGK run.
  5. Now that they are all in the same location, here is my Matt Hawk, Kirby run group shot
  6. I was actually watching that lot, however as I only needed the #43 and it wasn't in the best shape I didn't bid.
  7. Like Frank said, never come across a non handwritten number. As I'm always taking notice of that issue when it pops up and not seen it otherwise, I doubt they exist. I have read somewhere in the past that the entire header of that issue was a late addition so was all put together really rushed and the number was just initially accidentally left off. I don't know about this though because the 'boxed in' title was carried through until issue #63 so if it was last minute you think it would have changed come #61. On the topic of TGK, does anyone have a decent #59 they would like to 'part' with? If so shoot me a PM.
  8. That ones in great shape man, most of those I have seen have tears or major creasing.
  9. Looks like they were selling to quickly at $14.99 so they have ended that listing and started now selling them at $19.99 http://www.ebay.com/itm/FIRT-PRINT-NEGATIVE-VARIANT-CRYPTOZOIC-MAN-1-/390717512640?pt=US_Comic_Books&hash=item5af8941bc0 Another day another price bump, now selling their copies for $24.99 http://www.ebay.com/itm/CRYPTOZOIC-MAN-1-FIRST-PRINT-NEGATIVE-VARIANT-AMC-COMIC-BOOK-MEN/221331487101
  10. Apparently there is a #1 second printing (cover C) coming next week http://www.midtowncomics.com/store/dp.asp?PRID=Manifest+Destiny+%231+Cover_1318661 Anyone know what the cover actually looks like? While on the hunt for it I did came across this unnumbered page from #2 for those interested.
  11. Looks like they were selling to quickly at $14.99 so they have ended that listing and started now selling them at $19.99 http://www.ebay.com/itm/FIRT-PRINT-NEGATIVE-VARIANT-CRYPTOZOIC-MAN-1-/390717512640?pt=US_Comic_Books&hash=item5af8941bc0
  12. Cryptozoic Man #1 negative variant now selling for $14.99 from The Stash's own ebay account. With 'more than 10 available' prices will likely stabilise or drop on that version at least. http://www.ebay.com/itm/CRYPTOZOIC-MAN-1-negative-variant-NM-FIRST-PRINTING-/221330286461?pt=US_Comic_Books&hash=item338850277d
  13. It was was the main focus in yesterdays 'Comic Book Men' episode so for those who are fans of the show but didn't know it existed have probably run out to buy a copy today. Likely to maintain or increase in value over the next fortnight or so until the show junkies either get a copy or forget about it, then prices will sink again.
  14. Two Gun Kid #24 (July 1955) vs Rawhide Kid #33 (April, 1963)
  15. Got a couple in today, the #30 is now one of my favs as I received it as part of my 30th Birthday present from my 1yr old son. (the #16 apparently thrown in for good measure?)
  16. I wouldn't say 'consistently' just yet as that is the only $100+ sale at present http://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_sacat=0&_from=R40&_nkw=Mighty+Avengers+%233+Eminem&LH_Complete=1&LH_Sold=1&rt=nc Overall people just get caught up in ebay bidding. Before that listing ended there were other listings with BIN lower like this $80 copy http://www.ebay.com/itm/Rare-Marvel-Mighty-Avengers-3-Eminem-Larroca-Variant-Iron-Man-Eminem-Comic-/281202813674?pt=US_Comic_Books&hash=item4178fe6aea don't people look around before going all in?
  17. Two-Gun Kid #21 (February, 1955) v Kid Colt Outlaw #48 (May, 1955)
  18. Two-Gun Kid #51 (Dec 1948) v Western Kid #17 (August, 1957) Just add a dog and no one will notice
  19. Kid Colt #1 ... not something you see everyday, those things are rare.
