  1. +1 great stuff..... I wanted to hate that show but it continues to impress week after week. I had the same experience. Freddy Highmore is amazing. I feel the same. The brother relationship is really good in this one. I always wonder where it will lead. Gotta wonder if Norman will eventually kill him off.
  2. +1 Agreed 100%. I am really surprised at how much they show and do on Hannibal. After watching that show, looks like NBC is opening up their eyes a little.
  3. Here ya go.. http://myemail.constantcontact.com/--comicmarket-report--05-07-13-----What-s-selling-in-Lowell--MA.html?soid=1102175080055&aid=WxASLDSNX5A Thanks Larry!
  4. it is the same character, he is the son of lucius fox, it is merely a different version from an alternate universe, which is irrelevant. I'm not having it. Creators say Luke Fox is a new character. Lucius jnr is a fat mid 40's dude. Luke a young UFC fighter. Completley different characters. Tim Drake is in the same book as an old dude with gray hair...its still Tim Drake. The character has appeared in the DC multiverse before, plain and simple. In terms of Batman Beyond Unlimited, I believe it came out after the other Batman Beyond in question. I do also think they could be the same character. If you look at the new character in Batwing, he is young and athletic....who is not to say that he grows old and overweight? All I am saying is it is possible.
  5. there is still one book that has quietly avoided the Eye of Sauron... And lets keep it that way for a little bit longer eh. Wait for release day and then pump it to hell! Wonder if its the one I'm thinking it is, as im surprised there's been no mention of it on here. Everybody already knows about Betty & Veronica Double Digest #211, 100 issues reserved. Also, pretty sure Guardians of the Galaxy is not slipping under anyone's radar... Wo! 1st 3-some in a comic!?!?!?
  6. If those are 1st prints, I would grab them all. Easy flip. I had 8 of them, and sold them all for $16+ each.
  7. Great Larry! Thank you. Quick question. Why do you think Marvel Point One will be of signifigance?
  8. whats so special about this one? Minimum Carnage crossover. Is that the only reason it's heating up? Who gives a damn about Minimum Carnage?? that was my thought....wonder if Scarlet Spider has a small print run.
  9. Well SEX sells but after you read this awful comic you won't want to do it for a while. I was at my LCS today and they had a huge stack of Sex #1. Looks like a generous print run to me. I didn't buy it, at a glance it didn't look that good. Wow. I may pick up #2 to see if it is going anywhere, but my suggestion is to unload these pretty quick, it's terrible.
  10. Ha! You're welcome. Is there a stigma against all variants or just the lame 52 flags kind of stuff. Just when it goes overboard IMO. Bedlam #1 is a good example - there are like 6 first prints, a second print and some BS 'Limited Edition' that Larry's released a bit later at $60 or so. It's absolutely one of my favorite books, but the collectibility is held back a little by the oversaturation. Saga #1 is a good example of a perfect variant situation - a super-limited edition of 500 RRP, the regular issue and then the later prints. I like the way you're doing the second prints of Todd as true variants though, riffing on the first print covers, but with major changes. Good insight -- thank you! I just got the art for the cover of TODD issue #2 2nd printing. Will post here as soon as soon as it's in layout and look forward to hearing your thoughts. Also, other big news coming out of ECCC! Absolutely Agree! Just look at the Guardians of the Galaxy already. I was really looking forward to this series, but out of the gate, there are about 15 variants of #1. Totally un-needed.
  11. You know what I love the best about this book so far (I mean i do really love the story).....but no variants! Thank you Ken!
  12. I have heard there is an Iron Man comic also that has him in it, Agents of Shield. But I am not sure if it is in normal continuity.
  13. I almost wonder if she will be "Robin" much like Joseph Gordon Levitt was "Robin" in the DKR movie. She will help Batman, but not don the outfit......
  14. I did the same thing! (well, not 150!) only 20 regulars, and no combos! WTH was i thinking?!?!
  15. also, don't forget, issue #7 has a Combo pack. that might be the one to get your hands on.
  16. No, but peoples are speculating on Batman 666 There are only a handful of Damian Wayne appearances as the Batman From the future: Batman 666 Superman/Batman 75 & 80 ( most most guides or reference forget to list issue 80, actually a great time hopping tale that happened just before Cullen Bunn took over for a few issues ) Justice League Generation lost 14 ( has a variant ) etc... So who kills Damian? Is it the future Damian? Batman of 666?
