  1. I don't think there is a reason to have a "current" spoiler for the TV show. If you haven't watched the episode, just don't be clicking on this thread if you don't want to get stuff revealed. Definitely the "future" spoilers though. Dan
  2. I believe Thanos looks angry because the kid is using the Cube for trivial purposes, simply creating a generic ice cream cone, whereas he wants to use the device to its fullest potential, making several boxes of Twinkies - the only snack which satisfies the between-meals appetite of a Mad Titan, and which also explains why he looks a bit on the chunky side. You thought Thanos had his power nerfed. I bet the cube can't even make all 31 flavors. Dan
  3. I thought that "not ending well" referred to the group's relationship with Herschel. Dan
  4. Fantastic book, I don't understand the yellow label. How do they authenticate the signatures? Dan Actually, only the Jeremy sig and sketch where authenticated. Did you get the book sig series witnessed with Jeremy? If so then it makes sense. So the other sigs get treated as writing on the book? Thanks. Dan

  6. Got mine today as well - I don't collect the series, but I'm totally digging the keys: What is the difference between the two Ghost keys? Thanks. Dan AND the original 2009 SDCC Ghost key does NOT have hollowed out eyes where the Legacy Edition Ghost Key does. Thanks. I picked up one at SDCC and I was wondering if the only difference was the cert. I got mine signed by Joe. Dan I think only a certain amount were signed While the rest were just numbered & not signed ... Iknow mine is not signed I believe the keys could be purchased and Joe Hill was available at the Con for signing, but none of them were pre-signed. The person who purchased one for me had his and mine signed by Joe while he was at SDCC. I stood in a long line with a bunch of nice people (maybe some of you). Joe was very patient and humble. One of the memorable parts of SDCC 09 for me. Dan

  9. We are getting in the way of the next CPG being printed. This is all our fault. Dan
  10. Not yet. Thomas did finally email me back. For whatever reason they are having difficulty finding my order. Dan
  11. Sorry to bring this up to the board, but I have had no luck emailing Thomas. I still haven't received my trade yet. Any suggestions? Thanks. Dan
  12. At first I didn't believe the whole time-machine thing, but I believe now. Dan
  13. I bought a Wizard of OZ Hardcover and I just got it. Wonderful condition. Thanks. Dan
  14. I sold Matthew some horror books (surprise) a while back and everything went well. I would buy some of his fabulous art but they scare me. Dan
  15. Brian was very easy to work with. Excellent communication. A+++++ (oops channelling ebay too much). Seriously though, good buyer. Dan
  16. I just need to warn you that adding Chuck Norris's signature will probably bump up the grade to 9.8. There is a risk that CGC will give it a purple label if they detect that Chuck Norris's signature was only added to improve the grade. I still think that it is worth the risk. Dan Here's my anticipatory post: I didn't catch that originally. I hope the book doesn't catch fire if Chuck signs it. Dan Now I know why I missed it. Your quote was in a "Worst Copper" thread. Any book with Chuck in it is automatically disqualified from being in a "worst" thread. Dan

  19. Any chance you are open to adopting more children? Dan
  20. Very good experience with some quality buyers. All paid very fast and were very cordial: qualitycomix, silverweb, Korvac Saga, DCMan, and smithdatura who is fairly new to the boards and already understands the marketplace workings. Special kudos also to blazingbob for selling some of my books via consignment. Thanks again. Dan
  21. I must admit a lack of understanding as to why people are interested in the 2nd -nth printings of books that do not seem (to me) to be any different. Is there a particular reason? I have bought 2nd prints (and even 3rds and 4ths) for different artwork or more story or just because I couldn't find a 1st. Dan
