Crossed #25 Collector's Set! What's not to like!?

I posted more pix in the modern section if any other Crossed Fans want to see all the books.

We have hired & trained additional staff and have added night shifts for encapsulation, QC and shipping. Our staff is now the largest in CGC history and they are working tirelessly to get us caught up. The proof is in the pudding. We are not there yet, but we are making large strides and are committed to turning things around.

For as many as these there are, you don't find 9.8's that often. I was glad to find one! Side note, does anyone use anything to polish the cases? The scuff marks show up on this with the scanner much more than it appears-- of course the all black cover does not help.

I may not understand how this is done, but I didn't think they used the encapsulation machine for reholders..... they just snap a new hard plastic holder around the previously encapsulated book.

Not sure what that is-- these look like the other 300 or so that I have.....

It said: On page 28, panel 3, the spines of books on a bookshelf in the background read, "HARRAS HA HA, HE'S GONE, GOOD RIDDANCE TO BAD RUBBISH HE WAS A NASTY S.O.B.". when the comic is turned sideways.

Thanks! I bought the book new from my LCS, and I took it in and showed it to him when I got it this morning, since it was comic book day anyway. I was hoping for mostly 9.8's, but I got some (apparently) low balls when I first posted these, I was not sure anymore. Now I am!

Here is what he UPS man had for me today. 19 business days. Everything went perfect, except I paid for scans and still do not have them.

My four coupon submissions safely in hand at 1030 this morning. 19 business days. Base on what I read here, this is not the norm (maybe it is for coupons?) but I have to say I was pleased in every way with this transaction. I will try another soon...

Cool is good, but I would NEVER store comics below ground-- sooner or later, there will be a flood. As far as moving them around, leave them alone. You moving them will do more damage than any other factor. Look at the great collections found-- always in a closet or somewhere left alone for years, often without bags/boards.

Jan 30 coupon submission (4 books) went to scheduled for grading 2-20

Feb 22, went to graded at 8:30 AM Indiana time. Makes me wonder when they update the online stats, as they are surely not open yet today. At 8 AM this morning, it still said scheduled for grading.
