you cant lose buying a 9.6 for less than it costs to slab , especially once you factor in shipping to CGC. I'd buy any book in 9.6 for $13.50!
yes, I would buy that book all day long. you can't beat the price.

The pricing of EoW #1 is not performing as well is because of the forbidden planet and ghost variant.
agreed

Yummy.
good cover , but I have no luck with forbiddenplanet, they sent me bent comics.

Yesterday was a good day collecting my slab
Bizarrely the old labels certification number is still valid on the certification tool I thought it would be amended with the new details but same number since the old label was sent back.
Hopefully the figures are correct and there hasn't been a +1 mistake skewing the census a little.
Anybody here own the sole green label version? I think it would look pretty cool with the colours of the cover
nice book

This a bit high or is it just me? Would have thought its value was around the 200-250 mark
double sigs can worth the money, I guess. Besides, tax refund is on the way for many buyers.

this is a good price for the book.

A couple of RRp sales in the last 3 or 4 days.
East of West RRP #1 $475 on a best offer for Yellow CGC 9.8
East of West RRp #1 $399 BIN Blue CGC 9.8
These are closer in price than I would have expected.
SS at $475 is very reasonable, blue=$400, and SS cost $40, you pay $25 extra for DRAGOTTA's remark, but the price will continue coming down. most hardcore EOW collector should already have one.
and that Hulk guy just brought another copy of SS at unknown price on the board. (I supect it trade somewhere close to $400)

Nice!
Only 161 more registry sets until we get one for EoW!

That $130 "NM-" was me. But if you look at the scans, it looks crisper than most of the graded 9.8's ive seen. Looked like it had no bindery tears whatsoever, and the back was crisp, pristine white. I think the dip in ebay prices on the RRP's is due to the holiday season, not an overall trend. And this is early to be dumping an RRP in my opinion anyway. Once the series hits 16-25 issues, I think we're gonna see just how rare near mint copy's of this book are, and see prices like the saga rrp was fetching last summer. I've got 6 east of west rrp's now. 4ss, 2 raw 9.8 candidates that i'm blue labelling. And right now, I'm planning on sitting on them for at least a year or two.
that's nice book by the scan, good catch. I'm wondering why it list as NM-. maybe seller just use that to cover his .
Also, I don't know why it didn't show on my saved search from Ebay. still looking for one at a reasonable price.

The grail of my Five Ghosts collection.
This is the C2E2 Ashcan self printed by Frank Barbiere.
This was the very first ashcan done by Frank.
Edit to add: This was Frank's personal copy. I was glad to have won it directly from his Ebay auction.
the holy grail

The #3b I bought last week needs to be reholdered because the label doesn't note 'Second Printing' and it is in the census as a #3a.
I only bought it for the 32 registry points, not to keen to pay to ship it from Sydney to Florida for a new label.
Call them
Where did you buy it?
MyComicShop. It's my fault thought, I saw a scan of it before purchasing, just didn't focus enough on the details... Already emailed CGC and they said they'll reholder for free, just not sure that it's worth the shipping costs both ways considering the book's value. It seems they can't update it in the census without updating the label.
Does make me question why I feel the need to get all the reprints.
I thought you only had to pay shipping to them, not the return shipping. wrong label is CGC's mistake.

Anybody secure their copy of saga #13 second print? I have a subscription from someone and he said that he had no 9.8s for me. Looks like 13b will be a tough pull.
Oh no . . . That wasn't Dre, was it?
Hi Jim. Dre told me he didnt have any 9.8 candidates at that time. status could have changed though.
you don't have to have it. it's the same damn cover.
