I hear you and I like Roc. He's a cool guy. But this isn't just any book. It's a book about strong, independent women, aimed directly at that demographic. Perception is reality and regardless of the situation, Roc should have thought hard about that before taking any physical action against a woman, regardless of who instigated it.
I rarely chime in on anything, but I gotta say that I was really REALLY bummed to find out that this happened. I hadnt really been into a book like Rat Queens since the first go 'round of Runaways.............yes I love it THAT much. So to hear Roc was off the book, I immediately was in the "what the hell, I mean has there been a trial, is there video, how the hell do we know he's guilty" camp. But after giving it a swirl or two in my mind I came to your exact conclusion Solar. Being what the book is I dont really think there were many (if any) options other than letting Roc go.
"It's a book about strong, independent women"
Having an alleged domestic abuser drawing it would be a bit past ironic and more towards insulting for some I would think.
Still will buy the book for as long as its on the racks. Hope nothing but the best for Wiebe, Roc and his wife.

Here are some more of my predictions for the next 5 years!
Omega Men 3 (get'em while they are still cheap)
I didnt know if youre serious about these or not. I literally have a box full of 9.8 raws, probably 30-40. I picked em up for chump change so maybe I'll hold on to em for a bit instead of selling them now.
-
Why all the attention on HB #1 and not SST #37? It is the first appearance of John Constantine after all.
Thats whats frying my brain. A 9.6 of his first appearance is only going 20-40 bucks more....GRADED!!! What the fudge???

Am I the only one who saw this auction?

X-Men 266 up up and away!
The fuse has been lit...

Had this sitting in a stack of 4 238s. Subbed them all and surprised as hell that it came back with the Canadian Edition annotation on the label. Didnt even notice it raw.

Ario has been buying from me for months now. I've literally shipped thousands of dollars worth of books to him while strictly adhering to his specific direction and have not had any issues at all. I, like most sellers on the boards, sell most of my books to CONUS buyers and tend to shy away from international sales. The only two exceptions I readily make are to Canada and to Ario. Ario is an honest guy and has been an absolute pleasure to work with. Thanks for all your business Ario!!! -Anthony
