    Thanks @MattM CS Just tape on a book is universal, replaced staples and no tape is conserved, replaced staples and tape is qualified.

    I have a Batman #10 that is currently in the final stage of grading. The staples have been replaced and I was assuming that it would grade as conserved. Unfortunately according to the graders notes it is qualified. Any insight would be greatly helpful. Submission #4103485

    Just got a qualified grade for my Batman #10 that the has the staples replaced, I assumed it would be conserved. I should have added a acetate cover to it

    Am I correct in stating that if you replace the staples on a book, no married cover or pages, it would be a green label? purple or conserved if you use period staples?
