  1. i know everyone would like to see this book "reach SAGAH" levels, but remember that there are a lot of variants out there.

It's hard to say... so many factors involved. I don't think this book suffered from variant overkill like some other titles.

no, i agree to an extent. the thing that Saga has going for it is there is One variant (not counting Ghost)

The one thing Saga has going for it is awesomeness. In the end, variants don't kill/hurt a book... content does (I have spoken).

That's how I feel too. I have all first prints of revival but no variants. I enjoy reading this book as much as Saga. Manhattan Projects? Not so much, I'm thinking about dropping it.

  2. I just purchased a #1 for $50. That's the most I've spent on one book this year. I feel a little dirty but considering the current prices it should be a good deal if it arrives safely. The family is getting bigger.

$50 is a good deal considering how much it is going for on Ebay. You can easily put that back up online and make a profit if you so desire. I will be willing to give you $51 for it. Paypal ready.

    lol

  3. im not gonna lie guys, the phantom thing has me down about this book. really unsure about keeping my run going.

IMO, these Phantom variants are more akin to store variants, in that they aren't an official release that you can order through Previews. If you focus on only the "official releases", then you have nothing to worry about. Or, you can just say, "I don't like them, I'm not going to buy them." Never forget that you define your collection...not the other way around.

:golfclap: Better to think this way. our wallets will thank us!

  4. Long time lurker on the boards. But I recently picked this up and wow. Why did I wait this long to get on the saga train? Better late than never.

    Thanks!

My wife just had a baby a few months ago and I've been totally away from comics, xbox and sports the last few months. Now, I have a little bit more time to spare. Baby is less needy.. well kinda...
