  1. Man did this thread go off track with all the viperdays talk -- I sent him an email so I'm sure we will get his reply soon

Thanks cdrag, we encourage continued pot stirring (thumbs u

haha - it keeps the forum interesting!

  2. Just got my confirmation as well. I have a hard time believing that the print run on FP is only 1000, regardless of what Larry is saying.

But hey, if that's true, then I am happy to own 10% of the print run. :whee:

Very nice - Im right around 6% only :(

First half of my order has been dispatched - 2nd half is being processed - Placed the orders right when they up for sale

For 25 copies, shipping was approx 28 pounds

  3. To me... these people who flip right out of the gate and don't let the comic mature just to gain a dollar or two profit are truly BOTTOM FEEDERS!!! The only one making the money is Ebay. Geesh, are times that bad.... it might be time to find a real job.

Sorry for venting but it really gets annoying when everyone tries to undercut someone for a quick buck. I hope we aren't heading toward darker times in this market.

Couldn't disagree with this statement more. So everyone who sells modern comics as they are released doesn't have a full time job? and are bottom feeders? No one forces anyone to make a purchase. If someone wants to pay XX over cover then let them.

  4. So I'm curious how did anyone order the FP variants? I attempted to order a few copies and in return I just received an email stating that they don't ship outside of Europe now.... so how did you get your copy?

I just got my tracking info - I live in chicago and they shipped my order

  5. I'm one of the biggest Bedlam fans on the board, but #1 did have a boatload of covers:

    1st Print

    Detroit

    NYCC

    NYCC Sketch

    Third Eye

    Forbidden Planet

    Phantom

    Larry’s Special Edition

    2nd Print

I'm glad it's been limited to the first print, Phantom and 2nd print for subsequent issues.

I don't think it's really fair to include second printing covers as variants.

Beyond that, sure, eight covers is a lot, but it's hardly 53, is it?

DAMMMMM - he showed you!!!! hahah

  6. If you sell helheim now you are crazy...... But some people are overjoyed with a couple dollars profit (helheim) early in the game.

I would dump all the sex I had.....I normally don't say sell 3 days after a comics release (sex) but this one is leaving me ice cold and I wouldn't want to be sitting on a ton of copies.

Hmm my LCS has a bunch on #1's on the shelf - I only picked up the phantom variant - might have to go back and get some

  7. Fiona Staples Art book is up at Essential Sequential.

They also have the signed TPB as well.

Not sure I want to pay $16 for Priority shipping (any lesser option and my post man will likely fold it up and ruin it!)

All of them are signed correct? I read this in the description:

We've hidden 3 easter eggs in the TPBs! Each person who finds it in there book will win a set of signed Saga Prints by Fiona!

  8. "You got CHOCOLATE in my PEANUT BUTTER!"

"You got PEANUT BUTTER in my CHOCOLATE!!"

This is, without a doubt, the highlight of my trip to ECCC:

Bedlam + Saga RRP = two great tastes that taste great together. :whee:

    This is a killer piece!

  9. just wanting to check the consensus around here, Is $75 shipped a good price for a #1 9.8 and 2-4 in "NM"? I mean I was able to buy 1-4 at my LCS yesterday for cover and all seemed to be in great shape.

I generally figure for a modern book already CGC'ed at 9.8 is usually about $50 just to start since the cost of...

    Finding a 9.8 candidate

packing it up and shipping it securely for submission

all the fee's plus time waiting to get the book back.

I still haven't seen what the print run numbers are like for each issue, but less each of the variants. Does anyone happen to have these numbers?

    It's an OK price - I picked up a #1 9.8 for $50.
