  1. I believe so many people are busy looking for the next Walking Dead for monetary reasons. I want the next Walking Dead for the long haul, a book that will be ongoing for years to come and if the first issue goes sky high then that's just icing on the cake. :cloud9:

    Thankfully there is SAGAH!!!!! :sumo:

I'm not a big fan of Saga. I love Revival but to say that it would be ongoing for years to come is a longshot.

Revival should go for around 60 issues

I was just reading that on another thread. I was thinking that if Revival continues to increase its sales, then it'll keep on trucking. If it was another walking dead (and that's a stretch), do you think they'd just get to issue #60 and say, "Ok boys, pack up...time to go!" Nah...they'll keep spinning ideas and giving the writers more money to keep the dollars coming in.

You gotta understand that this writer isn't like a lot of others. He will put in 60 issues and then move on. He has already done it with Hack Slash. Not saying they might not change their minds, but seeing that he has already done it once its a good bet it will happen again. Nice thing is Seeley also wrote about 20+ one shots and minis with Hack Slash so it might happen with Revival as well.

Although its not quite the same type of book.

Agree. These are creator owned books, too, so the idea of another creative team jumping on just isn't feasible. It's what I love about Image. Most of the time, the creatives on the series are their to stay. It also leads to delays, but that's another story.

    Did someone say Bedlam? lol

  2. e.s.

I just wanted to say thank you. Thank you for the comics you signed and sent out and thank you for the awesome personalized poster you sent out to one of the bordies.

I know I'm new to these boards so my words probably don't carry much clout but I just wanted to say that.

I think it's awesome you find time to come on here and talk with us. Your actions have made me respect image more as a company and the type of people they employ.

We don't have a lot of extra cash for comics each month but what we do have, me and the family have been spending most of it on image books! You guys really see doing an amazing job!

  3. There is no cover for 4 yet is there? Ps, you should all blame me for luck so far in Portland... NWM, My white elephant. Not a decent #1 yet... (Aside from the second printing) sigh.

Go to the con then. This might be your big chance to get a #1 we will all be envious of :)

  4. When people start saying they cant be found at shops anymore Ill probably let my 4 copies go. Id be happy getting 20-30 each if they are going over $60 after a day. Ive been sitting on these since release day so id be happy with that

Well you let me know when you would like to sell one for 30 :D

  5. I also agree about leaving a few behind for new readers. I know people get excited about hoarding but a book can't continue if it doesn't start to pick up new readers.

    Tell you what:

I've been sending signed copies to interested retailers to help promote the book, usually around 20 per issue, but for issue three, I'd be more than happy to send a few to posters on this board who get their stores to carry more (or to order them at all, for the guys who said their stores aren't ordering the book.)

I was the only reason my lcs was ordering this book till number 3. I got him to order 10 of the number 3s. It's 4pm here and they are already sold out. Think I'm doing a good job ;)

  6. I hadn't even heard of this series till this thread. It sounded interesting so i went to try to find a few issues online. I checked like 10 different sites and couldn't find a #1 issue. I didn't realize the series was that popular.

If anyone has a extra number #1 to sell hit me up
