The book wasn't shipped shoddy..The book was placed between cardboard, in a midtown bag, then put into a mailer..It wasn't getting bent..It was never shipped shoddy..The discussion is he thought it was coming in a box. and it came in a mailer..I mail in both, I must have thought I boxed it. But it was secure and safe..I receive comics between cardboard all the time from sellers here..

Feedback makes no difference, on here there are bad sellers and good sellers. It happens wherever. I will make sure next time, I send it secure..I guess I can bend the comic now, but as long as the packaging is ok, I have the blessings of the people....

It was an unintentional thing. I wasn't out to mislead or lie. He paid shipping that anyone else has to pay for a raw. I don't charge for the paypal %. I made no promises about how I was going to ship it. It was a communication error on my behalf..but not an intentional lie As for the cardboard slabs, I cut up a few boxes of comics I have gotten and some boxes to ship to use as boards for the comics. What surprised me the most was Taco who is also TommyVoltage, was a friend I thought. If it had bothered him, I wouldn't think he would be going nuts in the chat on me. If it had been damaged I would refund the full amt. I would never set out to mislead anyone. I guess honest mistakes aren't allowed..The majority of time I ship in boxes. This being a single comic I guess I chose a firm mailer..I just wish Tommy had said hey listen, instead of I pay that much for media mail. I thought my rate of 4.00 is very comparable to others. Media has cost me as little as 2.74 I think and as much as 4.78 I think..If the comic was damaged etc I would understand. but there was no malice intended to anyone. Like I said I thought the guy was a friend also, with whom I have bought a lot of comics..But live and learn. I bump a sales thread once every 24hrs also..I thought thats what the time limit was..But if taco says it, then heck it must be true, he also said I only ship 1/100 in boxes..Both are lies..

Just makes me sad sean, that taco was a friend I thought, and now would act like I would lie to him intentionally. I knew taco under his other name..TommyVoltage and bought some PP off him a couple months ago. He knows I wouldn't mislead or lie on purpose..at least I thought he did..

You changed your story several times. It took me posting screen shots, quotes, tracking numbers to get something. You still have dodged several questions. And some questions you did answer were ridiculous. I advertise as shipping in box and bubble wrap because I actually do 1/100 times... Ok I was gonna let this go since I had apologized etc. But what you have just said is an outright lie and slander..I do mail out comics in boxes etc. If you wanted a specific type of mail, you should request one before you buy..The prices are listed in every sale. They aren't adjusted by what you buy etc.I made a mistake, you were charged the same rate as everyone else would pay for the same things..Some go out in mailers, if I have decent ones, others in boxes..Both cost me the same.but to say I don't send out boxes except 1/100 is an outright lie..I could actually see him complaining if the comic was damaged and I refused to give out a refund..but none of that is the case..Instead we have to find things to yell at people about. I would be consistently posting about sellers in here, if shipping were the case..How about got the comic, its in great shape thanks..

no one was lied to intentionally. And lately around here, all people do is attack others without waiting for any explanations. Thats really too bad because a lot of us enjoy the actual comics and trading and selling them, as well as buying them..

I am not even sure what the issue is..The comic was pristine, he could have just returned to me for full refund, well except he knows he would pay 10+ or more for it on the bay..so yea how I ship is my prerogative..As long as they get to you safe and sound is all I care about..This a non-issue..no one was cheated, robbed, or didn't receive what they paid for..and I did apologize if he thought he was getting a box..

no that moment was when I lost a sale due to this idiocy..Thats when I realized that I don't care..I ship comics as a lover of comics, in the best way I can. If i mess up, I try to make it right..Thats all I can do..If you don't like it, don't buy..I learned that slab shippers, don't work a lot of the time a while ago. so switched..I haven't had any issues with current shipping and if there is I rectify it..so thats all I can do

Wrong..I never told you yours was packed in a box..I stated and I quote I pack boxes with bubble wrap, etc..I would have no problem telling you how it was shipped..duh..I pay 3.23-4.98 I think for some of the media, a lot of it depends on weight..If you thought it was coming by box, sorry..If it was damaged, which it wasn't sorry..I can point many who have gotten boxes with bubble, and priority mail with bubble, and some mailers..so yea if you mistook it to mean that, it was not my intention, but the bigger question I would have, is how does it even matter? Again, the comic was undamaged, the postage prices are displayed in sales..not sure what your trying to do..I think I was answering your media mail question too when I mentioned boxes with bubble..I have a huge shipment going out, yes they will all be wrapped in a box..It just depends on the comic.

just because someone gets a tracking number, doesn't mean its gotten to go out yet..I just printed up 4 numbers for medium priority last night and gave the individuals their tracking..so someone is saying I said this after I had shipped it out, nope..I would never lie about how something is traveling, what would the point be..they are going to receive it and see..

I didn't..I hadn't shipped anything out yet..I get my postage ahead of time..What do you mean after I shipped something out I claimed it was in a box..No way, never..

I ship more than 1 comic in a box usually, depending on the comics and if mailers are avail.., I sent that gorilla slab in a slab holder, your right, they didn't seem to work, so I stopped using em..I just lost out on a SA sale because he is worried I don't ship my slabs correctly. ..I ship media for raw, would you like a bank statement, maybe a blood test..Oh yes, I should just offer comics, then sell em on the bay and never send em out..Probably switched to the mailer for the raw because it was a pristine raw, I like total immobility for raws that are singles..so yes, he must get his revenge, someone shipped it out in a different container, well I just paid the price I lost 150.00 sale in SA..I have the pm to show for it..so enjoy talking about this..I am done..as for the question its answered, so taco no pm's, talk to me in here..

And yes I try to ship safely..I am sure things happen..Cgc has shipped out slabs that get broken..I didn't realize that things should never get damaged no matter what. I would hope that I ship safely..I do my best

And a full refund for the return was offered, so I have done all that can be, some people won't be happy no matter what, and thats ok..

The complain evidently is he is convinced I promised him a box with a single raw..He got a nice large comic mailer, with the comic firmly attached inside between 2 pieces of cardboard..The comic was in pristine condition..so I am not sure the complaint..I guess I could bend a comic and send it out for him, so he can whine some more..

see thats not correct..I ship slab priority medium, received a lot from here not even in priority..I ship raws, depending on how many various ways..The damaged comics, are usually slabs in priority medium boxes, so that argument makes no sense..get all your facts before you accuse anyone..That would be a new thing lately though..people getting all the facts, before accusations fly here..

I didn't respond because it was a 3 minute gap and I didn't even see it. Edit: The revival thread comment is when he brought Revival from a few pages back on the Modern section saying that he knew there was going to be a TV show. And then he posted a sales thread for a full run CGC 9.8 minutes later. A lot of members called him out for manipulating. I've avoided him since I received the very poorly packed and damaged slab. I have also noticed how he tends to get very butthurt and play the victim when questioned about anything here or on other forums. With that said, it looks as if he has had some successful and smooth transactions since our deal. So, caveat emptor for all that enter his sales threads... Did you get refunded? or not? If so, what would be the complaint then?

Omg..give me a break...I ship single comics in boxes, and in nice enve's, depending on the safest way...The cost of shipping was the same either way..I have exactly what I charge for shipping..I actually pay more than I charge..I told him to quit whining..Next time you wanna bring up, let the person know your talking about em..Any comic ever shipped, I cannot believe this is even a topic, is refunded if damaged..It was in perfect condition, had a box ready..Then realized it would be safer in the mailer..If the person doesn't like that, they can give me back the comic, and get their money back..why am I even justifying this...And now I am angry..This is the stupidest thing I have ever seen. If the comic was damaged, or bent, yea..This guy tried to start in a revival thread saying I was shilling..now this..this makes no sense to me at all..As for the individual..He got what he paid for and then some..I don't charge the paypal fee which some do etc..Why is this a discussion?

I had about 200 of the tbp, including the don martin and spy vs spy ones, had all the mad's with records on em untouched..Bought em from 69-78...And my mom tossed em all when I went to college in 85, along with 1969 all baseball set. I remember Mad trade paperbacks, not sure what they were called, but had a place to put in your own sayings at the end of the conversation, anyone know what these were called..An empty slot to write in your convo at the end..

I want gotg to be a big smash hit, but I just don't think it will do it..I can always hope though, and to me John Carter was boring..which was sad, it could have been so good.

Thats his own original art? Wow, he should be doing art for the comics..I couldn't draw even stick figures..I can invent stories and write them, but never art..That is wonderful..

Good lord Taco Its weird to see someone discuss a comic and then put it up for sale..I can't believe it..what should we do..He must be a con man..we should investigate and spend time putting them down..Its the cool internet thing to do..My set is for sale, I hadn't said a word..You brought this topic up..So I will make sure to post that any sales must be approved through you, and there can be no discussion of a show, movie before you ever sell anything.. I am selling selling selling..don't like it, don't buy it..I still think theres a show coming..and I will regret selling the current set..doesn't mean I don't have more

I am enjoying the read. I didn't think I would, issue 2 was kinda eh..But continued with it and I am enjoying it..Nice to not worry about the next hot thing etc. and just enjoy a good read..Thanks Larime and keep up the great work..
