I can't stop watching boardwalk empire. Omar isn't gay anymore and he went back in time. It's solid. Boardwalk Empire is very good. How about Deadwood? Any fans. Love me some Al Swearingen. "Sweargin coc@$&cka"! HUGE love for Deadwood. Maybe my favorite 1-hr drama series ever.

Read #5 last night and really enjoyed it. I love the opening sequence with the Sinatra song, very cinematic. (Maybe a dumb question, but did you need to pay a fee to reproduce lyrics like that?) And the intertwining plots with CR, TW and the comic con were imaginative and funny. I also like how every issue has a synopsis at the beginning as a jumping-on point for new readers... good thinking and seems a bit of a lost art in comics these days. Good luck at NYCC! If I can I'll stop by and say hello. Definitely stop by and say hi at NYCC. We need all the friends we can get. That Sinatra sequence was our homage to The Sopranos. Any fans? And no, we didn't have to pay for the lyrics. I love previously bits on TV -- I could watch a whole season of "previously".

We've got some plans to use them, but not in the current arc.

So maybe some TV news at NYCC? Possibly. And Titmouse will be at NYCC. MK and I will be going on a tour of their NY studio that Friday. Should be cool. Oh, and they have a panel -- so I want a whole bunch of people to ask questions about Todd. Or fill the whole first row with paper bag kids. Heh-heh.

You can still get them cheap too. I think people are sleeping on this issue. Totally different cover. I agree with Nigel.

The A&E show: I pitched it as a "modern day 3:10 to Yuma" -- about everyday folks who transport prisoners across the country. We shot the pilot and it turned out great. So, of course the network just passed on it. On the upside, they are going to let us shop it to other networks. So it ain't dead yet. The Seacrest and Discovery projects I can't talk about yet because we're still developing.

Only one more day (thumbs u I just read the trade again last night. It is probably the toughest book to describe to people because it is so different. I do like the Charlie Brown ( for adults ) analogy. I hope this book is around a long time. Thanks! #5 comes out tomorrow and #6 next Wednesday. And then the week after we've got a major meeting on the TV deal. Crazy few weeks for our bag boy.
