  1. It's great to see all of the positive reaction amongst the critics, Ken. Can't wait to read issue 4 tomorrow, but I am a little sad as one of the other reviewers noted that we'll have to wait a few months before we get the next issue. No doubt it will be worth the wait though!
  2. It seems that graded 9.8 copies of this book are starting to settle in at a range of $250-$300 for now with some outlier sales of $375 on mycomicshop and I think there was even one recent buy it now sale on ebay that sold for over $400. I think that high grade copies should continue to see upward trends in value as Apocalypse has become somewhat of an iconic villain in the X-Men universe and will be exposed to an even wider audience if he does end up being featured in the new X-Men movie. According to the CGC census data, 152 copies have been graded 9.8 including signature series out of 366 that have been submitted. That's less than half and doesn't seem like a lot given the book's fairly high print run. I guess we'll see if the number of 9.8 copies really goes up if an announcement is made that Apocalypse will be showing up in the next movie.
  3. I just quoted thelastword's post Ryan...wish I did have all those in my collection, but I did just pick this one up.
  4. Nice MGMT collection including those 2 9.8's! Seems strange that there's been so few issues from this series that have actually been submitted for grading if you look at the census reports.
  5. I tend to agree with this, but I'm interested to see what angle Ken decides to take as it relates to Todd's face.
  6. NICE!!! BUT, without a photo...didn't happen senor. Ha, I don't disagree. Just purchased it this week so it's still making it's way through the mail. Should arrive by tomorrow according to tracking estimates at which time I'll be happy to post a photo. It came earlier than expected. Sorry for the glare on the photo.

  8. Thanks, Shap! We're having so much fun with the #5-10 story arc. Can't wait to start teasing it. Thank you Ken for creating such an innovative new series. Definitely looking forward to picking up issue 4 and seeing how the new story arc plays out. Also love all the merchandising ideas being considered. Seems like Todd is already developing its own little cult following.
  9. I just picked up a Todd #1 9.8 first print in a private sale. I also like the fact that there's no variants other than the second print cover and very happy that this series is being extended past the 4th issue.
  10. Thought it was this month, but just checked..... 4/10. BTW, WTTB's (welcome). R Thanks Ryan, it's good to be here. Looking forward to picking up the trade next month then.
  11. Now I'm really looking forward to reading this after the reviews of the latest issue. Mind MGMT Review #9
  12. Does the trade come out this month or next? I've been wanting to read this series for awhile. Everyone I know whose read it tells me how great it is. Also, I'm sure it's been discussed before, but does anyone know the approximate print run on the first issue?
