  3. Jimbo has sold me several nice GA books over the years, so I am offering up 3 lots of primarily GA books. Everyone eligible to buy, even boardies who are a few pegs beneath me like @gunsmokin and @Incredible Pulp, you pay 100% to Jimbo direct, and shipping is on me in USA. Lot #1: "Some Jumbo for Jimbo!" - $200 OBO shipped! SOLD!! 5 books and the Jumbo 75 and 120 have Matt Baker Art. Jumbo Comics #75, 120, Fight Comics #63, 79, Jungle Comics 104 (Bondage!) These books are mostly in the 3.0 to 4.0 range, all complete and attached, with the exception being the Jumbo Comics #75 which has a detached cover and numerous defects and is a .5/1.0. The Fight 63 looks like a kid tried to do some amateur plastic surgery with a scalple to the sexy babe (possibly a young @lizards2 ). The Fight #79 also has a 2" spine split.
  4. @mycomicshop - Do you have a list of shows you will be at in 2024 where customers can drop consignments off? I know you were at Heroes and Baltimore last year, same this year? Chicago?
  5. Take per PM 1994 Charlotte Heroes Convention signed program $120 Multiple signatures and mini sketches John Romita Sr and Jr, Charles Vess, Adam Hughs and more Captain America lot $15 Aliens Predator Terminator lot of 23 for $40
  6. Surprisingly better than I thought! That said, folks just have to come in with realistic expectations. Motor City USED to be like Baltimore and Heroes, but has gone the way of the pop culture con, and the fall show is about 2/3 the size of the spring show they do, at least for now. It wasn't as good as the May show, but it wasn't the drek fest I thought it could be. Bought some bigger books at good prices and some art at good prices. Next time I will try to take pictures but it is hard for me as I get distracted but comics and good looking women.
  7. Quick note for any Michigan boardies and instead of doing a separate thread I'll just drop it here...... I forgot that Grand Rapids comic con is this weekend. I can't make it this year but if anyone has any details on the show I would love to hear about that one as well.
  8. Found this on their website: Booth 916 - Comic Sketch Art will be on site for all your CGC/Witnessing needs. Please swing by our booth and ask for a witness A list of comic guests can be found here: https://motorcitycomiccon.com/comic-creator-guests/ Also expect a hefty dose of the Fantast pedigree collection to be broken out at this show and the main show they do in May. There aren't a lot of national dealers left at motor city, and even less at the fall show, but between Harley and the other dealers that have Fantast books it might be worth it. Plus Lange Sports (ebay zillaf4, a known tight grader on the boards much like MCS) has been doing blowout booths with even wall books at steep discounts. Unfortunately Roger Peterson, owner of collector zone, passed away this summer. Roger's booth was known to nearly all attendees as the spot to get some TREMENDOUS deals in his dollar and 5 dollar boxes. When @catrick339 was still doing this show and splitting with Roger, they would be my first stop every year and I would usually buy a long box between the two of them. Roger's daughter has been running shows with his stock but I'm not sure if she will be there.
  9. Batman #183 G (?) $10 (center wrap detached, etc., etc.) Batman 3-D 1966 reprint Fair (?) $10 (cover barely attached, tanning, etc.) Take
  10. Bought it today over lunch and read it in about 5 minutes. I absolutely love it, and I think I will hold off saying more until others have a chance to read it. It is very different from Calvin and Hobbes though.
  11. It already is as most of it is at the Cartoon and Library Museum at Ohio State University.
  12. It is SO AWESOME Gene that you chose to let some of us have a shot at these file copies too. THANK YOU so much for offering them here!!
