Great idea!

I remember that. All I could think about was "What if that was made into a movie?" Take out the cheesy one liners, and you may be onto something.

I'm really not looking forward to this movie. I'll wait for it to hit Redbox.

I actually bought the book when It first came out, and I always wish I had purchased more copies. I guess at the time It wouldn't have made any sense for me to do that though.

What I don't understand is the amount of faith people have in this book. It's one thing to say that It will always be a $1,000 book, but It blows my mind when people treat the WD as If it's going to have the same impact and longevity as Star Wars.

I really like this.

I really do feel bad for the flippers that overpaid for this book. At least Peter Panzerfaust had the decency to drop back down in value before it ever had the chance to really explode.

So it is the tv show afterall thats supporting the value pillars? How much of a dip will there be when the show ends i wonder??? Enormous. People will lose their homes, children will be pulled from University and housewives will start giving Oral pleasure for $23.99. Cats and Dogs may even mate. The anger over this books success is gobsmacking. If you have one, well done. If not - oh well. This book has bought more young people into comic book reading than any other for the last 15 years. Why do you have to make a drama out of it? Its a solid part of modern day pop-culture and should be embraced as such. Chill out mate. Ironically, you have just contributed to the drama. Nice work...mate.

Did you miss making a profit? Or did you miss the boat completely? Neither. I purchased the book back in 2003 when it first came out. I was looking for horror comic books, I saw WD1 and thought it had a cool cover, so I picked it up. I had no clue I was going to sell it for $2500 ten years later.

According to the defenders of WD, the comic is worth more than gold.

Is there a a correlation between WD1 and gold? They are both dropping in value!
