I've been thinking about selling some on the boards to finance other books!!

Very nice! I would ask how much you paid for it over a decade ago, but it would probably just hurt too much when I compare that price to how much I paid for my 3.0 last year... Jared - I bought one of mine for $250.00 years ago and I thought it was a lot of money!! Good deal! I dropped $450 for my 3.0 last year, which I am feeling pretty good about since a 3.0 sold on Heritage last month for $515. It is one of the toughest Spidey books to get in any grade, I waited a long time for a copy in my price range to hit the market. That's the whole trick - finding the right grade to fit one's budget

Great copies! Love the colors. How would you grade them??? Anyone know how to turn a PDF into something I can use so I can post them in the boards? My photocopier doubles as a scanner but everything ends up as a PDF and those can't be uploaded to the boards.

So you have 2 copies of every awesome book in your collection? I'm working on it!! I've only had two of ASM 14 at one time, but I used to have about three of everything. Keep going, more boxes, more bags, boards, and Mylars. All I need is time, space, money and an understanding wife

While I don't doubt you, how do derive this information? Several dealers reported extremely strong prices at SDCC. The current heritage auction has a GPA busting 5.5 on it as well. -J. It will be interesting to see where it finishes and also the 7.5 on CC that starts tomorrow.

Posted 3 ASMs which Pete quickly claimed and paid for in under 20 minutes. Can't ask for more from a buyer!! Hope to do more deals with Pete!!

In defense of Tuffy, while 20 hours between replies is a long time, not everyone has a smart phone and not everyone is constantly checking their emails. People do have jobs, families, sick kids etc. Tuffy did say I will take it if the 1st deal fell through and I assume he saw no further need to check his emails on an hourly basis. If the deal fell through, he just assumed the book would be his with his I'll take it.

I know this is a long shot but here goes! I am looking for the owner of Captain America Comics # 1 CGC 8.0. I do not know the CGC serial number of the book but the book does have the letter "B" pencilled in the M in America. Here is a (small) picture of the book raw. Thanks.
