  1. Relax guys Sixth Gun has a tiny print run compared to the top 3 and its still around. Chillaxin its the weekend!
  2. Now that a tv announcement has been made more light is showing on clone. If the tv show hits a season order a bunch of people will want the #1 raw or 9.8 IMO.
  3. 1. Order 1000 TWD with your own cover. 2. Get it in the registry. 3. Shred 950 of them. 4. Make new friends
  4. I know I'm fairly new to the boards but everything is compared to Saga.
  5. I'm confused here. I've seen this book at cons selling for 10-15 buck a floppy and on freebay its hovering around the 10 dollar mark. And nobody thinks this book will go higher than 20 bucks say a year from now? seriously?
  6. IMO almost any image #1 right now is a quick flip but I just choose to hold my EOW #1's cause I'm willing to wait a year or longer and really cash out. Just depends on what you model is.
  7. That is so true Frank. A lot of ongoing were solicited as minis and then if you couple that with some of the indie presses copies just aren't ordered. Take Oni Press books for instance I finally have one lcs in town that carries a few all the rest don't know about Oni Press.
  8. +1 IMO Claremont's run on x-men (11 years) putting out quality stories and new characters has to be the best run during the bronze age.
  9. Again I'm not surprised because a lot of people out there are buying and pre-ordering a ton of #1's but after that they bail. I'm really not surprised by the number 2 numbers now if number 3 were to drop by that same percentage from 2 to 3 then yeah it would be shocking and surprising. Glad you like it, I think its sooo good.
  10. Still doesn't take away from the fact this is a good story and great art. I see big things long term with Lazarus. Also speculators probably bought 25 k of that run and maybe the reader size will be around 30 k a issue. I'm ok with that.
  11. But its posted as breaking news. Duh I think everyone knows #2 will drop plus its the summer.
  12. what #2 doesn't drop? Again those same comments on every title.
  13. Print runs don't mean all that much its the quality of the title and if readers buy into the story. I go for very good writers and art. It is kinda funny to me how nowadays people will say 50 K is a high print run when I was a kid a million was a small print run.
  14. I've just read a lot of board postings of their business practices no matter the book. Slow, high shipping, and not filling orders correctly. Capitalism is a great thing, stop giving them business they will be left with 2 options - either start becoming reliable if someone buys 5 ship 5 simple or go outta business.
  15. So why is anyone still giving them business?
  16. Revival might be catching a little higher. This just happened bin I'm holding my sets cause I really enjoy the story and once readers try it they'll want the issues they missed.
  17. This just happened. bin Saga prices on the climb!
  18. I love this book can't believe secondary market hasn't bumped up but have faith as more people start reading the trades that might change. Also its nominated for some Harvey awards.
