  1. There is the problem its not just auction 101 but computer 101.
  2. That bed scene is kinda disturbing to me....maybe its those ears.
  3. All the east coast supply from diamond?
  4. So the virgins can be in color as long as nothing obstructs the view?
  5. Hope you bought a bunch off him then!
  6. That is about the norm right now for a good Image written story. Once more people read this and get hooked it'll spread around.
  7. I think one thing to consider is that writers write a ton of books these days. How many titles is Hickman writing right now? I'd also point out that I can't imagine his income is truly coming from East of West. I believe I read somewhere how much money creators get from indie titles and it isn't much. Every contract may be different, but it still isn't a lot. Back in the good ole' days writers/artists weren't stretched as thin. Minus someone like Stan Lee who was "writing" every Marvel book for a while. I completely disagree with you. Back in the old days artists and writes were way and I mean way more maxed out than today's market. Kirby was cranking out up to 5 books a week. I'd like to see artists today keep up with that time frame (he literally worked 12 hour days and made peanuts cause it was page rate pays then).
  8. Lazarus #1 June sales were 48,030. Very close to what EOW #1 was.
  9. EOW #3 June sales were 39,441!
  10. +1 Think you might be right on that one. Lets all hope things pick up soon.
  11. Might contain some spoilers but here is a first look at Lazarus #2. Multiversity Comics
  12. He must hate the Wizard World Variants of #1 being made.
  13. Omg. A special is printed as in made from a printing press and pressed to make a floppy. Isn't this semantics?
  14. Wonder why it was stated it wasn't if they had plans to make it into a special one-shot?
  15. I picked up 2 copies started heading to the register and got cold feet, set em back on the shelf. True story.
  16. Except those $3 adds up to over $100 a month. I did like Lazarus. The premise is unique and a reluctant killer in the family is something that I have not seen before. . Exactly. And with more and more new #1 titles hitting the stands it will limit how much people can pick up. I doubt very much the regular normal comic book reader can spend 100 + every week on comics.
  17. Well with all the #1's Image and other companies released a few weeks ago definitely cuts into how many titles a normal comic book reader can and does buy, thus reducing the number of some copies purchased. I'm not saying big speculators did not miss this title, I'm saying the regular folks have a lot of new titles to pick from with their limited cash flows. Yeah I enjoyed this one and see big potential here!
  18. ...and you will because stores ordered heavily. It's a Rucka title and an Image #1. What did you expect? Whether or not it was ordered heavy its not easy to find. All lcs in my town are out. Mycomicshop is out of them, so is graham cracker comics, tfaw has 69 copies left. Only online place that has a bunch left is midtown. Yeah its a Image #1 but it came out during the lull of the summer before SDCC....its not a DC title or Marvel in the 90,000 range...its image and probably closer to 50 k. 350 some odd stores buying this title....the math doesn't lead to vast stacks everywhere.
  19. I'm really diggin Michael Lark's art on this title! (thumbs u
  20. Anyone think Dragotta would come to a WW con in the midwest?
  21. I heard some of the FP has color break lines near the left bottom staple area on the front cover. Re-read Lazarus again and I think this is going to be one cool story. (thumbs u
  22. They are being listed at 9-10 I've noticed today. Oh well guess I missed out on this one, can't buy em all.
  23. I think what he means is its gotta be "Officially announced as ongoing". But yeah everyone here knows.
