  1. Recent "ACE" JACKPOT pickup and couldn't help but get a very modest pic of the low grade MLJs I have put together thus far...fun stuff!!
  2. Thanks pal!! I got my eyes peeled for more, "ACE"s for sure!!

  4. Without reading too much of this thread I just wanted to add that I just returned from seeing this flick with the wife and I was utterly thrilled. I thought the movie was spectacular. It was funny at the right times and the special effects were great. I have always been a huge fan of Ant-Man ever since I was a little kid and to see him hit the big screen like this was phenomenal. Right up there with many of the other Marvel films IMHO.
  5. I like this one too and Congrats on finishing the Green Lama cover run that is spectacular!! Really like those early Prize issues (thumbs u
  6. One of blissard's sweet books glad it went to you pal that one is sweet!!
  7. Speaking of seeing so many cool books since joining these boards another cool place I often find books to cure my, "wantlistitis" is the Gerber journals...Picked this up for a song off of the Bay. Love the Silver Streak run and found this intriguing as the back cover to issue #5 is switched from the actual guide itself so they must have straightened it out prior to printing. Anyone else have any of these? I am sure they aren't rare seeing they made 30 of each but still neat IMO...
  8. Love the Benson and the T. Holt books!! Neat stuff!! This aint too shabby either Frisco!!
  9. Thanks Sagii I second that notion!! Thanks pal!! (thumbs u
  10. GREAT BOOKS BEDROCK!!!!!! Thats right CAPS LOCK ON for that statement!!
  11. cool stuff, i really like #22 Thanks Karl buddy!! I do not know much about Zip 22, what is the scarcity of the book? I would be looking for something in the 3.0-5.0 grade range if I could get one. my assumption is that it is pretty scarce or at least locked up in collections. There are 6 on the census total including mine which hasnt populated yet. This copy is the only copy Heritage has ever sold and I think I got it for a real good deal. GPA has 2 recorded sales with the most recent being in 2012 which was a 5.0 for $3200. My personal opinion is that they are out there just not for sale at this time but I could be wrong this is just a guess. Im pretty sure I heard GAtor had one for sale at some point but am unsure of the grade. One thing is certain..there is a 9.8 on the census and I would love to see it!!

  17. Hey bud hope you feel better soon!! A piece of advice from a youngster if you don't mind...if this is something that has come and gone for years you should get an MRI if you haven't alteady yet. People that haven't experienced that nerve pain can't possibly understand the debilitating effects it can have and what is so wierd is it may only happen when you turn just slightly. An MRI could help distinguish if have osteophyte (bone spurs) buildup or something else that may be causing the nerve to compress. Slight relief can be had from NSAIDs and muscle relaxants but ultimately you need to find the root cause. Also steroid injections done directly to the site can be quite useful and can be done outpatient. Like I said Hope you feel better pal a trapped sciatic nerve is nothing to smile at as it can be quite paralyzing in nature. Keep truckin brother!!
