  1. got off phone after Gsims718 kindly referred to checking with husband repeatedly which was odd to say the least. looks like it was on ebay, dear I say estranged

He did pay for the item and it was refunded ??? not sure what all the back and forth disagreement was at that time but recalls price point or something.

Anyways time to get back to dealing with family matters:insane:

Per above, we love helping our customers any ways we can. Rudeness, however, doesn't have a place in our stores. Rudeness means we've hit an end to our relationship, which is our last desire.

I do hope you find a comic store that better suits your personality.

    Best,

    Phil

Wow, you just keep going on don't you, sure did find a shop that isn't mismanaged. My point is proven!

Gonna assume that the author of this post (and many like it on this forum) doesn't follow TWD comic.  Kirkman pulled a surprise ending of the title, going so far as to issue fake solicits for issues 194 and 195.  I'm going to guess that MANY stores who order a near-constant number of this title from month to month were caught off-guard, when this issue LITERALLY became an instant collectors' item last week.

nope, following walking dead, had it on previews order and subscribed to it (double upped). I had issues up through 200 on order, figured they were going to make a big deal out of another milestone issue.

I was going to ask if the store offered to make good on the situation, given your long patronage.

This post answered my question and wins my nomination for Post of the Month.

store didn't offer to make good even after I sent the owner a nasty gram. The countless workers at their stores are clueless and this just tipped the scale. They fabricated lies on top of everything!

I'll check the two comic shops here. One today. The other (the owner is my friend) on tuesday when they next open. If there's one there I'll pick it up to send to you if it's for your personal collection.

That is a very nice gesture but I don't think you will be able to find one at this point. People are selling them for $20-$40.

In the other instance that they failed to deliver-- did it happen with a book that was super hot or going for well above cover price?

Still a rude way to do business.

Always with Hot books and I just tolerated it over the years but for some reason this just pushed me over the edge when I have had it on order via previews well ahead of time

  8. Well I saw someone's comment about getting out of comics because of this issue, I thought they were overreacting until I went to pick my copies up at the LCS and they said they ran out even though I have had 2 copies of every issue on order for some time. I call Bull. I am out of comics after this and feel for those who were burned because of shady LCS. Coliseum of comics has gotten too big for their own good and mismanaged beyond repair!

  9. Didn't intend for this to go on and on, said my peace and moving on, nothing to see here! Already found an alternative!
