I purchased a fritz the cat button from Bob's most recent sales thread. It was shipped within 3 hours of sending payment. Usually when I purchase buttons they come in a bubble mailer...not the case with Bob, he took great care to make sure it arrived in perfect shape. Thanks!

The CGC label for Freak Brothers #1 1st print state that 2 variations of the 1st print exist. I believe this is the harder to find variation featuring the orange brick. I am pretty sure this is the only difference between the two variations.

I think this character with "420" as part of his user id needs to find a new supply

I decided to post something a little different for Thanksgiving.

I have yet to obtain a 1st print copy of this book. This is Howards OO copy. He told me he purchased this for fifty cents.

Also from the Eric Sack Collection, but featured in the main catalog along with a lot more pages from his collection not found in the UG catalog. He has some amazing taste and a collection that would be nigh on impossible to replicate today.

 

There was 1-2 Crumb pieces in the contemporary art auction catalog from Sack too. Do you think he kept part of the collection or that part of it will go on auction at a later time? Felix was asking me & I don't have a good answer...

 

The depth and breadth of the collection is astonishing if this is only part of it (even if that part is >85%)...

I spoke with Todd Hignite today and asked him specifically about the threadspool heads. There are 11 of them in the youtube video but only 3 in this weeks auction. He said they intend to put them in future auctions a few at a time. So it looks like while the entire Eric Sack collection will not be offered in this auction, Heritage is in possession of the entire collection.

I think I will bring a camera body with a 14 mm wide angle lens. I don't want to be behind a camera all night but I should be able to get some good pics

quite a few of the slow death books seem to be an homage to EC books

One of only two slabbed copies last time I checked. The other is the Haight Ashbury pedigree

This is one of my favorite comic books. I'm not quite sure why. I guess I just like armadillos.

Very cool. Do you know if they have enough catalogs onsite for all attending? The only Heritage catalog they ever sent me in the mail was for the Howard Greber Collection last November.

So on my quest to find both a 1st print and a "true" second print of Zap #2 it is apparent that I need to find a good micrometer to measure cover stock. Any recommendations on what model to buy?
