so its been exactly a month since i last heard from tibex82, and exactly 2 months and 4 days since i bought the comic.. i'm glad he is on pl now but i'm still out my money and comic.. this sucks... doesnt look like he is coming back anytime soon either.. just glad it wasnt something more expensive but still.. wish i knew his ebay to see if i could get ahold of him there.

these pl discussions are useless... its been a week since i followed the rules of waiting 3 days and nobody respponds about any of it about my problem. im just gonna call it a wash and move on.. thanks for all the help..

That's the OKC buy from Tibex - I saw posts in response to you - didn't really know where are you with it. I'd suggest a recap of the situation with dates/contact & tracking number if the seller says it's being held up by customs...I can look into it & see if it's a BS story in a day or so. It's UK to US right? edit - Also @jaybuck, no, not a shill just a name change but definitely questionable behaviour on the part of the ASM 1 buyer/seller/buyer guy. Some people are just scammers but we also get some people who react oddly, badly or overreact angrily and make things worse for themselves quickly. he never gave me tracking info.. i bought the book on may 31st, gave comicalgems 10 dollars and gave tibex82 10.66 for shipping.. the situation is he has been very distant in his communication sometimes a week or two in between and now its been about 2 months and i have not heard back from tibex82 since the 3rd of july.. also it was from detroit to toronto. not a very far trip.. I had done a successful deal with Tibex82 in June, indeed it looks like his post to my feedback thread is his last post to date. When I saw Rayjay's post here in the PL I tried to PM Tibex to see what was up, but thus far my PM is also unread. I hope this is just a case of absent-minded neglect on Tibex's part, and I remain hopeful he'll come back and clear this up, but Rayjay has a legitimate grievance, its been way over 30 days, and he has done his due process for putting Tibex82 on the PL. i hope so too, but i don't know about you but if i had not only a pending book on route, but one that was way overdue, i would not leave the boards for a full month, and not expect to come back to some angry messages and a pl list nomination..

Do you mean your post of July 17? I understand that you have been trying to get a satisfactory response via PM, but have you sent him a PM specifically saying "I am nominating you for the PL list" etc. The rules give the offender 72hrs after getting notice to reply here with their side of the story. dammit.. i just did that.. fine its been 2 months whats another 3 days...

still no response, where the hell is this dude?? this is getting really annoying now... ok i didnt want it to come to this but its been since may 31 and i still have not recieved my book and also its been since the 3rd i have not heard any response from this person, i gave them a chance to rectify it, multiple actually.. so i nominate tibex82 I bought batman inc # 8 off this person on may 31st, from the okc thread and throughout the weeks i enquired about it and tibex would say i dont know what happened if it does not come in a week let me know, i did, and then tibex says it was at customs but has not cleared yet, then another while goes by still nothing, i ask again, tibex responds that something is definitly wrong and if i wanted a refund or the book, that was on the 3rd of july, and i have not heard back from tibex since, and i notice he read 2 of my messages and did not respond..

thats true.. well like i said this is probably just a misunderstanding, but i bought a book from the ok charity thread, and first he told me it was not cleared by customs then he asked if i wanted a refund or the book and i replied back and told him i'm not sure and what my options were if maybe i can get a different book etc and i see he has seen them but hasnt replied, his kudos thread is really good so again im sure he just got caught up with something but maybe its just me but if somebody bought a book off me and has been waiting 2 months almost for it i wouldnt dissapear for 10 + days.. i just hope it gets resolved soon..

I agree. I always thought he was Ken's crazy brother in disguise. Thanks Ryan & thelastword! Feels good seeing something unique from its genesis and knowing 1000% it is very special. There would be one heck of a long list if we put together all the amazing things this character can be "put through". It's endless....and maintains originality. Also, for those not around from the start, Ken 2 cent has given us a bit of a peek into his TV connections and getting other projects moving forward. It's a no-brainer with how good of a writer Ken is and Perker's artwork REALLY fits the bill! Holding my breath for: 0. TODD limited edition ACTION figure (or Gumby flexible!!!) 1. TODD alien abduction story 2. TODD bigfoot encounters while snipe & butterfly hunting () 3. TODD Skull & Bones secret society initiation (new arc will be interesting!)
