I managed to pick up a 6.0 yesterday off of roulette44. I wasn't expecting quite so big a run at HA today. It was exciting to watch.

I follow your logic Speedy-D, and I have no plans to sell any time soon. I have always just adhered to the old saying "Better to have it and not need it, than to need it and not have it". btw, my scanner won't focus properly when I try to scan my 105. Any pro-tips out there?

I talked to roulette44 today at lunch about maybe resubmitting it soon. It is much sharper than the 6.0, and presents very nice.

Here are my 2 Showcase 4's. I will be scanning in my 105 CGC 7.5 tonight and adding it to this thread. It is slick.

After I close on a deal for a 105 tomorrow night, I will post a scan in the forum. I have 2 copies of Showcase 4 that are posted in that thread. Hands down, my favorite character of all time.

Like most of the DCU key books, this book's immediate future and possible roller coaster ride from a pricing standpoint rests on the shoulders of the Superman film. From what trailers have shown so far, imho, it looks epic in scope, and may show that Superman might need the help.

Also, what do you guys think of the silent auction for the #34 cover? I am leaning towards bidding, but not sure yet.

I stumbled across this thread tonight, and I am glad I did. I love everything about this series to date, and I currently have a nice set of CGC comics graded in sequence of issues 1-8. All are graded 9.8, except for #2 and #4, which are 9.6. I also own one page from the series, issue 28 page 4, and 1 cover. It is the Trifold wedding cover for issue 30, and I am in the process of getting it framed. I definitely will share pics when I get it hung on the wall. It is epic. Last, but not least, I got my Chog in the mail yesterday.

The 5.0 on heritage just took a huge jump up this morning. Looks like someone forgot to bid on the Ebay 5.0 and is making up for it.

Even without the bounce at the end, I feel really good about my 5.5. and 6.0 purchases.

Do you think the $7500 5.0 will hold on E-bay, or push up to $8000 in the last minute?

If you have to be addicted something, it might as well be comics.......

I also bought a 6.0 for $10,450 the same week. I joined GPA this week and reported the purchases, but they still have not been reflected in the sales history yet.
