    I have never asked this board for any help as I am right now ... :(

     

    I'm in the middle of a divorce and have a little boy to look after, under the situation we were in I had to pack up what we could in the car and move down to Houston.

    I do have family here but I also have CGC book that I have listed on the boards here as well, I know there not super high grade but it's what I could bring.

     

    Please any help selling off these books would be a HUGE HELP..

    Sam, you have been fantastic to deal with every time, so I am sure folks will be there to support you. I hope my small purchase helps in some way.

    I bought and paid for a book in January which still hasn't arrived yet. I've mailed the seller and he says to wait it out - it will turn up. I've bought from him once before and I can't see him screwing me.

     

    But 3 months delivery time? I've written it off to lost in the post, any advice people? (shrug)

     

    It takes about a week to get slabs out to you, not 3 months (at least that's about how long it took for my slabs to go from California to you in the UK).

    Can you file a paypal claim if you paid via paypal (or has the amount of time elapsed been too long?)?

    I would mention their name.

    Brian, you pack like these books have to be protected for the space launch, ship faster than The Flash could keep up with, and always insert a caring note. What else can I do for you? Setup a bank account and just do direct deposit from here on out?

    Gents...

     

    I picked up two orig. owner collections this weekend, and will be posting them on the boards post-haste.

     

    I'll be posting one thread in the silver/gold thread, these are all mostly silver to early bronze Amazing Spider-man.

     

    In the regular for sales forum, I've got mid-grade GI JOE, high grade early Hellblazer, and a whole slew of mostly #1 issues, this guy collected almost #1 of everything. Begins later tonight.

     

    Can't wait to see some of those #1 issues (hopefully there are some obscure titles in there)

    I wasn't trying to trash Zach or anybody who made a goof when posting a for sale thread. I meant all the insufficiently_thoughtful_persons who keep chattering and blathering oral diarrhea, as lizards put it, and keep threads on the first page that should have and would have withered and died and if not for the nonsense BS spouted after any so-called "forum police" made a corrective comment.

     

    There's a dozen other forums and hundreds of other threads for stupidity and personal quips that belong in a PM. The sales forum is becoming more difficult than ebay to navigate around all the turd postings, and at least half of those turd postings are the result of insufficiently_thoughtful_person's who have to post their every brain fart, and not just the result of bozos posting overpriced common low-grade garbage that could be picked up at the LCS, local show or Craig's list for a song.

     

    I hope I'm not one of those bozos that you are talking about.... :P
