  1. Link http://www.ebay.com/itm/Civil-War-1-First-Print-July-2006-NM-UNREAD-Marvel-Comics-/271636524079?pt=US_Comic_Books&hash=item3f3ecc6c2f consistent on ebay for at or around that price Any idea why? Marvel released an image that said civil war 2015 with an image of spiderman in the middle of iron man and captain America.., Captain America #25 should be heating up then.
  2. Excellent seller! Very professional. Can't wait for the rest of the books for sale.
  3. Smooth transaction! Thank you and quick service too!
  4. Robert is a very professional seller. Can't wait to get some more books from him.
  5. Are you referring to the 1st APP of the Four Horsemen of Apocalypse?
  6. Great customer service!!!! Waiting to buy for more.
  7. I agree for the most part. I'm pretty selective with the ones I get since there are so many. It's both a blessing (due to the great artwork) and a curse (due to the amount made -- especially with Marvel's current method of pimping out #1s with a minimum of 4 variants). Some are the price of a classic key, which is ridiculous. But that just my I am still blown away by the prices Greg Horn was getting for his slabbed Gamestop variants with his and Lee's sig and a quick sketch. http://www.ebay.com/itm/AMAZING-SPIDER-MAN-1-CGC-9-8-GAME-STOP-SIGNED-SKETCHED-BY-GREG-HORN-STAN-LEE-NR-/321443785853?pt=US_Comic_Books&hash=item4ad78aec7d&nma=true&si=LAPHHcRad1Kp%252BtuMrQDJVRkWXow%253D&orig_cvip=true&rt=nc&_trksid=p2047675.l2557 http://www.ebay.com/itm/Death-of-Wolverine-1-CGC-9-8-REMARKED-edition-GAMESTOP-variant-by-GREG-HORN-/361033466606?pt=US_Comic_Books&hash=item540f4582ee&nma=true&si=LAPHHcRad1Kp%252BtuMrQDJVRkWXow%253D&orig_cvip=true&rt=nc&_trksid=p2047675.l2557 just wow... Crazy prices, but the Wolverine cover art is fantastic! Love it. Love the cover but I would not pay that much for that book. I would just ask herb to re-create the Hulk 181 cover for me. Cheaper.
  8. The only reason why I want it slabbed is so Ic an preserved it for the next 30 years. ! I don't know but there is something in a slabbed book that I like looking especially if I want to keep it long term. It's not about the money but the presentation.
  9. I wasn't talking of reselling it after I slab it. Just trying to preserve it. So still keep it raw?
  10. Should I have this slabbed? Starting to collect JLA now.
  11. What's WP? white pages I'm lost on what is the topic here now. !
  12. As long as it does better than Todd the Ugliest Kid, which actually dropped in price after the show launched (which I thought would happen) then all will be well. The is a show already?
  13. Have not seen the show - a coworker recently told me (he has no idea I read comics, or that this is a comic property) that the show was 'awful.' No one else with us had ever heard of it, so... time will tell. If it reaches a mainstream audience, then no, there probably is not much of a ceiling. The prices right now are most likely just speculators selling to speculators. I actually like the show.
  14. There's this LCS that I always go to and he has tons. I picked up 5 last weekend. He still have ton of those so I might go back again.
  15. BMV Yeah but the one by Silversnail with the play boys is the one to go to.... I prefer the other one. Just there today picked up some nice books. 15 for X-Factor 15 That seems high. I must have picked up at least 15 of these ( all newsstands! ) from my favorite honeypot this past spring and they are some high grade beauties! Nice to hear someone is collecting Groot appearances cause there just aren't that many prior to 2007. I'm surprised that Where Monsters Dwell 6 isn't doing better. It reprints his first appearance but came out prior to his second in that Hulk Annual 5. I'm not sure about this but can the Hulk appearance even be considered his second? I have not read that comic because I ran out of cotton gloves but I heard it's a Groot robot not actually Groot? If that's true then wouldn't Supernaturals 4 be his second? It's kinda crazy that Groot was absent from comics for over 20 years. I've been trying to find a 9.8 X-Factor #15 forever... I'm sending all my raw copies to CGC Well put one aside for me if you score big! haha 9.8 actually ended at $89.00 today. Ebay

  19. Sure, but that's really a Copper discussion. Isn't Modern comics from mid 80's? Some people have it as mid 80's, if you check the CGC glossary you will see CGC define it is 1990 onwards http://www.cgccomics.com/resources/glossary.asp I guess it's easier to just follow CGC.
