I had a 9.8 that the graders notes said finger prints on back cover. A 9.8.

Got a 9.6 if anyone cares to know. After I had it back in hand I noticed 3 tiny color breaking spine ticks so I think it would have gotten a 9.6 anyway. Grader notes say nothing. I think they completely ignored the extra paper FYI.

Thanks for the reply. Well here's hoping a 9.8 is possible. 

How does cgc deal with extra paper? I have a marvel age 41 that has extra paper on the last page. It has been folded inside so nothing is sticking out. The fold line is lined up so perfectly with the edge of the book that I think even the fold is from the manufacturing process. I left the book at work so I don't have a picture to show until tomorrow. 

I know I've seen 9.8s with tiny amounts of extra paper on the cover but my book has about a inch extra on the bottom and outside edge of the last page. 

Hopefully some of you have some thoughts.
