  1. Back issue resale is still pretty good . Issues 2-6 are selling on an average of $15 an issue. There's still demand for this series
  2. If anyone need some back issues, I tend to have plenty of those on hand. Heh
  3. Not sure what you mean, but they have been here 5 years longer than you... On this section of the forum boards
  4. Mycomicshop is close. I think they are missing just the wraparound variant
  5. Yeah, I take it as modern day spider-man mixed in with Ultimate Spider-Man. Also sorta like Superman but not be a person_who_is_obnoxiously_self-impressed.
  6. Who were the Guardians of the Galaxy 18 months ago? If it's awesome, people will come. Doesn't matter. Marvel sells and so will Ant Man tickets.
  7. aw man, i hope not. cannot stand anime. why would it have to be on Cartoon Network? i guess id be ok with an animated series, but, id prefer live action. if it was a series of films, say a trilogy, the budget would be a lot more, especially if you got another production company to help out Skybound. Dreamworks and Universal have that kind of money and as far as i know, aren't tied into the Marvel/DC universes. Cartoon Network is the best outlet for Cartoons in general. Anything that airs on Cartoon Network Ends up on Netflix. Madhouse did a great job on the X-MEN anime. it was a story but it was well animated! If it turns into an anime it would be streamed on multiple sites. This in turn gives a chance for those that ignored it during it's initial broadcast, just like Breaking Bad. Smallville is a prime example how an iconic character cannot seem get a budget to put on a proper show. Would you really like 10 years of Invincible on a budget and cheesy -script? A film would simply not work. Only Lionsgate would take a risk on an Indy Comic and wouldn't shell out more than 50 Million on it. I think they would have to have Mark on foot in the first movie. Do you really think an R Rated Invincible could do well on the big screen?
  8. A live action Invincible isn't feasible. They would need Marvel money to spend on cgi . An animated version would likely be easier to do but it could only be aired on Cartoon Network late at night. Hell, it'd probably better off in Japan as an anime and then coming back to the States. A series like this has the potentiometer to be the American Dragon Ball Z.
  9. I really didn't care so much about the earlier Art for Invincible. Same goes for The Walking Dead. Key as they maybe, they still don't have the eye appeal of later works.
  10. It was a parody of the Dead #100 cover on purpose. Not enough main characters had died in Invincible to make the cover legit with recognizable characters at that point. Hell there probably hasn't been enough now compared to Walking Dead. I thought it was more of a coverswipe than a parody. I thInk Rex, Shrinking Ray, Old Guardians of the Globe, The Immortal and a couple of Dupli-Kate's would have done. I think that'll be my next commission sketch to be done.
  11. Thinking about 100 wraparound made me think of TWD 100 wraparound. TWD 100 was a better wraparound as it displayed Rick on top of characters that actually died. Invincible 100 would have been as great if it displayed actual casualties prior to 111. To me 111-114 is the true "The Death of Everyone" arc.
  12. 76-96 of Invincible and The Walking Dead are the slowest in the series. I guess Kirkman tried to blame to many projects at once.
  13. I wonder what my 4-page long gatefold cover to issue 60 would go for if a double page splash went for 5k. Of course, we'll never know. It's not going anywhere. Is Battle Beast on there? Battle Beast adds tens times the normal value!
  14. Does anyone know why Invincible # 10 have spine splits on the left hand corner? How many #50 Connecting Cover Variants were produced. Or know why # 9 goes for a bit less than the first 12 issues?
  15. What's the GPA on #1 now? Last year it took a nose dive and hung around 1.8k
  16. I saw a pretty big run of the book in my LCS on Black Friday at a decent price. I was really tempted to buy them all. I just can't bring myself to start on this run when I've got silver Spideys to buy though. Maybe when I finish that run I'll chase these down. one issue of silver age spider-man cost as much as a whole run of Invincible. one issue of modern day Invincible is better than modern day Amazing Spider-Man IMO
  17. I think I seen mile high list the 2nd print of invincible returns 100 sketch shows up often Larrys isn't sold at a reasonable price at times
  18. As long as you have # 1 and 12 it should be gravy from there. I'm near depleted in my individual issues, I may break a run to have inventory.
  19. If anyone is on the fence on buying Invincible back issues. Now is the time to buy em up. It's starting to increase in price and decrease in availability. I've been almost bought out by people overseas. If anything there's going to be less and less circulation in the states. I don't know what to say about OA. Rob's got the market on that one.
  20. i'd have liked Kurt Russel to play the role 10 years ago .
  21. Impressive list. Missing New Mutants #87? Doubtful It's always a $50 dollar book like Uncanny X-Men # 266. It won't be like Uncanny X-MEN until a notable actor lands the part of Cable
