There was tape removed from the bottom of the spine and there is a 1" split. Book is complete and the cover looks nice. Last sale in anything close to this grade was 2 years ago, for a restored 5.0

This is another scarce book with 27 total on the census. It was also from the same seller. There are chews on the bottom of the spine, I think the cover was detached and was reglued badly, it's about 1/8 of an inch off. The right edge and Possibly the bottom edge were trimmed.
This is the first book that used the "A Superman- DC 15-Cent Logo"
It's also the last Black Pirate.
