While cleaning out some of my old articles on antiques and collectibles I came across an idiotic article written by a speculator about the investment potential of Beanie Babies stating that by 2008 several would be selling for $5,000 or more. How did that turn out? Not sure which comment was more hyperbolic... This books sells EVERY SINGLE DAY for $3000! When divad gets inside the bubble to be safe from the world, Batman Adventures #12 will not be inside, The book is immune to bubbles. mrwoogieman, You are sure which is more hyperbolic and you are being dishonest with yourself and everyone here.

I can't find an example of an old Howard Chaykin auto but here is what I am looking at. All of his have a clear H but they have been recent. This could also be the very exclusive autograph of the original owner of this book!

Not that I can tell but it appears the book wasn't in great shape to begin with / no backer board and 30+ years of god knows what.

Maybe he dots his A's? It looks like some of his signatures that I am seeing, My theory was the dot is an error, In hand it looks more like a drag of the marker than an intentional dot.

So I decided today to dig out the 2 Star Wars #1's I had and on the 1st print I found a signature. 1. George Lucas? 2. Would you say it is real? The books was in a box of 70's Marvel, The bag was very yellow and tape was brown so it's been in there a while.

The description of the book is spot on as well. Glad to know they take time to ensure accuracy. If I was looking for this book I would pass on it because of that screw up.

Anyway it got me thinking is it known what the first MJ insert ever is and is there any significant value because of it?

I found today that my Iron Man #128 has a MJ insert, I don't see any on Ebay and was curious what everyone thought it might be worth. Book is probably around a 6.0?

I think the coloring book is just another thing for Harley fans to chase, If you've already got all of her other appearances I could see going after the coloring book because it has HQ in book form not because of it's significance as a 1st / Early appearance.

I was going through some TMNT Adventures books today and came across Special #8 from 1994 the cover has the turtles on a dragon (?) chasing the KKK, I just wanted to know from the local turtles historians if there was any blow back from this? Considering it is a kids book published under the Archie banner I was more than a little surprised.

I have been on both sides of the holiday shopping season, Sales for raw books over $10 have slowed considerably for me at the same time I sold 2 overpriced New Mutants #98's, A 9.2 for $333 and a 8.0 for $288, I considered these to be at the I don't want to sell it price (was going to maybe wait closer to the movie and see what happens, But welcome the unexpected sale) Comics are hard to buy for someone for as far as gifts go.
