  1. I stunned by Epting's art on the costumes. It is like he photo drew it w all the intricate details. Velvet's fight scene is a brutal one.
  2. I liked it a lot, not sure how it will do commercially, but its a good read especially for those in the creative fields. Damn, I saw the eyeball on the cover and passed. I will go look next week.
  3. #2 reminds me of Harry Potter in a school of assassins.
  4. #6 was an excellent mini story on forever being on guard duty.
  5. #9 was another solid issue. The tied up hero whipped. The desert flashback. Hints of a rescue. I can see this in a movie.
  6. what do you mean. Hard to find! I've never seen one in the wild. First appearance is 22 Brides? Usually that is it. Small cameo so it doesn't generate much $$. In fact the comic series with PJ is not a high seller. I like it from day one, but many don't. The TV series fell into the trap of the villain of the day.
  7. I rather had the cat rip her throat out.
  8. I agree. I like the story. I like the variants too.
  9. Bleeding Cool saying A Gambit movie w Channing Tatum might happen. http://www.bleedingcool.com/2014/01/30/x-men-producer-wants-a-gambit-movie-starring-channing-tatum/ A Gambit #266 is around $215-225 in 9.8
  10. I loved the issue too. I like her description of the animals types. I could read a couple pages because they were never cut apart. #18 is a winner.
  11. #11 was one that will make go reread the past issues. I found myself thinking what is going on. Where is Mad.
  12. I would rather have a colorized version every two months vs. the black and white. Ben Templesmith at #3 is nice. I sure would like to see him do some art.
  13. I like #4 as well. Something about the Four Daves makes me laugh.
  14. #3 is good as ever. Brubaker adds a twist at the end that I didn't expect. Velvet is a confident spy that will get the mission done. Where is the movie at.
  15. I like the Fiona Staples Variant of this. Not much publicity and you might get it at cover.
  16. #8 was a good read. No one else is doing pirates!
  17. Apparently DC is doing a set of 1:25 robot chicken variants for all the titles. Any thoughts?
  18. #8 was a classic in comedy. the first 10 pages are better than any comedy this year in the movies.
