Hawkeye covers are SO distinctive, and such a huge part of the appeal of the book. I was going to flip my set on eBay when the prices went nuts, and still give it some consideration (I already have the trades and the hardcover is on the way) but I just can't give up those covers. They're just so purty. In fact, not only can I not let them go, I'm tempted to pick up the later printings for the color variants. I am liking the art on #9 the best.I wonder if the artist has other equivalent stunning work out there.

I was going to write quite a few words in response to this but basically it comes down to this: a lot of ebay users are stupid and/or lazy. I have a max price and I bid it early. If it starts a frenzy so be it. I find it interesting to see three cancelled EBAY auctions in the last two week. No reason given other that no reserve was not really no reserve.

I see one up at 10 pounds. Dexter reminds me of the Marvel 1977 comic. Big fan base on a good series. $900-1000 for a 9.8. Fans will want more.

#5 can't come fast enough. The art reminds me so much of Neal Adam's Batman of the 70's.

I think #5 is my last issue. I love the art, but the story doesn't move me anymore.

I am not feeling the love for the storyline. Maybe too much action and not enough development.

Except those $3 adds up to over $100 a month. I did like Lazarus. The premise is unique and a reluctant killer in the family is something that I have not seen before. .

I am catching up also. The art bothers me, but I like the story line. Good use of history.

Dexter was also sold out at 2 shops I went to today. I underestimated the popularity also. I did pick up the 1/:25 variant for $23.

Posting art helps, if the story is good, even better.

The second issue of Last of Us seems tough to find under $10.

I coughed up $15 for the variant. The art is vivid and just worth the cover to me.
