  1. I really liked this cover. It basically screamed at me that this Wood illustration was the inspiration for a whole bunch of Spielberg movies. On top of that I used eBay bucks and x5 earning new eBay bucks to get it.

EC's :cloud9: and Wood, great combo

  2. More sweet Catwoman books that Rich Henn found in the wild and had Mr. Huges sign.

If you have books that you're having trouble hunting down, Rich really is the best, and super easy to work with. We even spoke on the phone, which was pretty cool. (I don't like the phone, it makes me nervous  )

  3. Usually when I go look at "large" collections I come back with nothing and browsed hundreds of 90's books. Today was a little different, after winning a Batman Comic I struck up conversation with the seller to find out she was selling her husbands collection. After some back and forth we decided I would come up today and take a look. She sent me a partial list as best she could so I already told her I would take the Conan Run and the Gi Joe run. I was pleasantly surprised to find good amount of runs of several Bronze comics and some Silver Avengers and Fantastic Four, this is not all but all I dealt with tonight on organizing and getting into bags and boards. Still plenty of Iron Fist and PM/Iron Fist to unbox. The good thing was the Valiant books were the most modern books there so it was pretty nice to flip through lots of .12c and .15C books for once.

  4. I've essentially taken a 1 year hiatus from the boards--it's amazing how much more productive my life became. For better or worse, I fell off the wagon after the Baltimore show, where I came across some Harry Lucey covers I had long given up on ever finding in even mid-grade. This run of Peps seems to be impossible to find without water stains, foxing, etc. Just impossible. Needless to say, I'm pretty thrilled. Here's the books that responsible for my return.
