  1. Jeez....he was still accepting in Nov of 2023... You may be one of the lucky ones that can get the credit card company involved. I would contact them immediately. Most don't have that option because it has been years or decades. Sorry about your ASM 15
  2. Good point. I like both the actress and the character. I guess all teens make really bad decisions, even the geniuses!
  3. It was… ok. I am not really a fan of Patton or Kumail’s humor. The old cast is brought in simply to satisfy us older fans. Overall it just didn’t progress the storyline too much and some decisions made by Phoebe is not believable. I did enjoy It was interesting that
  4. About to watch this now. 4 adult tickets, 1 child, 4 nachos and drinks…. $150…. $150 to watch Ghostbusters. This better be the best movie ever made.
  5. This is what I typed in 2014 about Dynamic Forces when creating the CGC board origin thread. I discovered the site after first getting into the hobby again after 15 years and making the mistake of ordering "cool stuff" from Dynamic Forces. After waiting 6-8 months for my order to never arrive, I googled Dynamic Forces sucks and here I am
  6. I stopped reading new comic books about four years ago. I am trying to catch up on Spiderman now using Marvel Unlimited. I never thought I would like it in digital format, but the option to have it zoom in each frame shows art details I would miss otherwise. As much as I love Spidey, I have not enjoyed what I have read up to this point though and I remember why I stopped last time.
  7. I loved the first book and even loved the movie even though it was different. I think they kept the spirit of the book in the movie, but it would have been difficult to do a direct translation. I found the second book incredibly boring and suffered through it. In fact, I remember nothing about it other than not liking it.
  8. Yep, that’s exactly what I had in mind. It has a wide variety of colors as well.
  9. Is the coating plastic or rubber? They do have paints that are made to bond to those surfaces.
  10. More like Tic Toc or Instagram.
  11. I prefer to think of it as one ongoing story with each new topic being a new chapter in the saga.
  12. Hourly update on his purchases!
  13. But I wanted to lock in that new clean comic smell…
  14. I thought comic cleaning involved dipping them in the tub with soap and quickly bagging them.
  15. I would rather send him money than Hero, at least he is making an effort.
  16. Did you ask @CGC Mike? The rest of us can only speculate.
  17. This thread keeps giving but for all the wrong reasons.
  18. It reads like a fake yelp review for 5 stars left by a business’s owner when all the other reviews are 1 star.
  19. Unnecessary stress is people sending their valuable books and cash to him and years later finding out they may get nothing back and they nay have been sold or lost. That’s fantastic that you both are getting your books back. Congrats. It may not seem like it but for two new people to join, post, and immediately get a resolution is nothing short of amazing. Almost ……too much so. This thread and the comments were virtually the only reason some got their books back. No one was kicking him. Many were offering to help any way they could.
  20. Short answer is that it depends I would think. What would make this case interesting on a six year statute of limitations would be to actually argue that the theft didn’t occur at the time the book was sent but later when shady stuff started and it was returned in pieces with no refund. (Opinion only of course, not legal advice of any kind)
  21. I mentioned that once maybe in the old thread but was subtle about it. If I remember correctly an insurance claim was filed for books left in a car. (Why were they in the car again?) Didn’t one customer say a claim was made for his book when he had not even sent the book. I’m sure the insurance company was immediately notified and the claim voided or refunded for that book, right? Failure to do that would be…lets say… not good.
  22. I just started watching this. Not for sure how I missed it. Season 1 was great. Not enjoying Season 2 as much but only a few episodes in.
  23. Thanks for reposting, I had missed it. The title says it all, “Something just seems off…” They spotted it right away.
