  2. Blue Bolt #115 (CGC 5.0 with off-white pages.) $2700: mrlatko. Pre-code horror doesn’t get any better than this. One of the most classic of all the L.B. Cole horror covers! Not only one of the most coveted and collected L.B. Cole masterpieces but also one of the most desirable among the entire horror genre. Such a gorgeous cover especially for the grade. A 5.5 just sold (Oct 27, 2022) on Heritage for $3120.
  3. Blue Bolt #110 (CGC 5.5 with cream to off-white pages.) $2400: mrlatko. Technically I guess this is a sci-fi cover but that Bat-Gorilla would be a hit at anyone’s Halloween party. Spectacular, stunning, phenomenal and breath-taking artwork and inks. Those colors just explode off the cover. A 6.0 just sold (Oct 27, 2022) on Heritage for $2880.

  11. That's all for Forbidden Worlds. Horror from the Tomb #1 (CGC 1.5 with off-white pages.) $450: goldenacase Split cover reattached with tape. Horrifying ghoulish classic PCH cover. Very nice presentation for the grade.
  12. How about some Ken Bald Forbidden Worlds goodness. You're probably familiar with Ken's great art work thru the years. The other thing Ken is noteworthy for is his two Guinness World Records. One for being the oldest comic book artist (95) at the time and for being the oldest comic book artist to illustrate a comic book cover which he did for Marvel in 2015. Another interesting item that I discovered about Ken was that he served in the Marines at the same time my dad did. He enlisted in the Marines (tough guy) after the attack on Pearl Harbor. He served in the 1st Marine Division in the Pacific. He fought in the battles of Cape Gloucester, Peleliu and Okinawa. My dad fought at Cape Gloucester and Peleliu also with the 1st Marine Division at the same time as Ken. They didn't know each other as they were in different Battalions and Regiments. Not only did Ken survive these bloody battles but he lived to the ripe old age of 98! Back to the comics.
  13. Shadow Comics v4#9 (CGC 5.5 with cream to off-white pages.) $350: Not the classic horror cover but frightening to the damsel in distress. Only 10 in census.
  14. Tomb of Terror #12 (CGC 4.5 with off-white to white pages.) $450: allthingskryptonite Chilling and frightening Lee Elias horror cover.
  15. This Magazine is Haunted #9 (CGC 4.0 with cream to off-white pages.) $325: Another awesome eerie Moldoff horror cover! Great penciling of the witch!
  16. Be back in a bit with more listings. Pictures don't appear as sharp as they do on my computer. Want to investigate to see if I can find out why.
