Tomorrow is my last day on the beach, let's do this again! Lone Tree, you already won the first round so I'm going to ask you to sit this one out. Go ahead .....what is the answer to today's Beach Beer quiz? Today's winner gets to submit one free book for the Ed Hannigan signing. All expenses covered. If you don't have something to submit, I'll see what I can find for you .....and .....GO!

I've been getting several inquiries lately from customers asking who I might have some upcoming signings with. Yesterday I received some good news. Ed Hannigan has been feeling better recently, and his wife says he's ready to sign some books. Cost of this op is $50, and to be clear, this price point is indicative of the autograph fee and shipping back and forth only. If you have your own cgc account, cgc will bill you accordingly for grading and return shipping. Please try to have all books to me no later than July 21st. Ed collaborated with Doug Moench on a big run of Batman in the eighties, and if you want to add Doug that can be done as well for an additional $50 . Again that price point is only indicative of the shipping back and forth, prep, and the autograph fee. This will be a mail away signing, there will be no remarks or sketches, any additional questions please send me a PM.

Several people have PM'd asking for more Ed Hannigan books---I don't have that many, I think only two others that I haven't posted. HOWEVER----I was contacted by Ed's wife this morning and we're going to set up a private signing. I'll post an official announcement in signature room later. Ed has been recovering in a nursing home and is feeling better enough to sign some comics. I'll post on my FB page "Rich Henn Comics" as well as the boards a little later, soon as all the details are firm.

Time for my annual BEACH BEER QUIZ. Last year's winner was Chazgee, who has officially now named this annual giveaway. I'm on the beach---guess what I'm drinking. Winner gets a free CGC s/s slab. Here's the can art. Two hints: 1) The brewery is based out of Massachusetts. 2) It's a limited release. I literally only purchased this for the art. It kinda reminded me of Cosmic Ghost Rider.

New Teen Titans #25 CGC 9.4 s/s Romeo Tanghal, Marv Wolfman & George Perez - $175 Another triple signed book, and again---I'm baffled why this is a 9.4. Granted, this was graded almost 8 years ago, but this is another re-sub candidate for sure. Looking at the census, there is only one other signature series out there, a 9.8, and if memory serves, I probably did that one too. No recorded s/s sales to date on this book.

New Teen Titans #10 CGC 9.6 s/s Romeo Tanghal, Marv Wolfman & George Perez - $175 Inker Romeo Tanghal from what may have been one of his only convention appearance in decades. Never saw him at a show before or since. You're really paying more for the rare triple signature here than anything else----there are not that many books in s/s where you can find all three guys on the same book.
