  1. I bought it from a local con dealer that was helping some other guy help the OO to sell his books, as he was ill and wanted to move back to his home town. The best Marvel books and titles got released first and they appeared to be have been stored inside, as the pages were really white. I showed up at a show with $200 because that show never really has any good books. I wasn't even there first but I was told to go to that table. I bought a lot of the nicer Spider-mans (late 12 centers to early 20 centers), some Avengers and a bunch of Silver Surfers that day. I had to go to the bank to get more money to only pay for a portion of the purchase. The dealer drove over an hour to meet up with me the next day so I could pay for the books. At that time, I was the only guy locally willing to spend any money at that show so after that, he gave me first crack at everything new. The OO eventually moved but the dealer unfortunately lost contact with him. It turned out that the other middle man took advantage of the family and got a lot of books cheap. It must have been mostly DCs and magazines, as I stated, the best stuff got released early. I only saw a smattering of DC books which were generally keys. The OO eventually passed away and the OO's brother found the dealer and offered the rest of the collection to him for $11K. The later stuff that I posted are from that batch. Of course, there were a ton of other books which I purchased that weren't picture frames. There was a 9.4 X-men 12, 9.0 ASM 14, 9.4 ASM 25 and 29, and a 9.0 ASM 50 among others. The OO bought a lot of later bronze age junk including multiples of any apparent key or first appearances. Books that I felt were worthless and gave away in deals (She-Hulks 1) became more valuable later on :doh"
  2. Stop pimping your eventual sale. xoxo greggy
  3. I've proven that in most cases, this award means nothing. It's the most improved player or most sportsmanlike player award of the CGC boards. It's not even up to best defensive player. AKA...it's trash
  4. We were happy with the 7.0 to 8.5 bump on the ASM 129 you sold us in Calgary.
  5. Note all the ones that could benefit from a Joey press as well. xoxo greggy
  6. I'll take the other two. Yes Dre, I purchased from one of your threads. Thanks--Greg
