  1. Got a short box of file copy digests from Heritage. Too lazy to scan them all but here are some of my favourites.
  2. They charge the 1% when it comes from a bank account as well? Yes, but as stated, it is for the cross border fee that US sellers are subject to when they received payments from other countries.
  3. I miss those suckers.
  4. Very creepy, I agree. -- Joanna
  5. You just have your finger on the pulse of the collecting community don't you? Thanks for the info. Good for Bob. Indeed, but he will be sorely missed. Some of the nicest books in my collection came from him. Makes you wonder if there are other, large Bronze hoards out there. Greggy, was that a personal collection, or a warehouse/storestock type of thing. I think I remember Bob telling me he most of the books from some sort of stock in the early 80s... tons of then-cheap books that at the time were only 10-15 years old. God, I wish I had been on the stick then. Shep He told me that most of his best stuff was from his personal collection. He may have bought them from various sources but I'm sure some of his best 70s stuff were purchased off the rack. From his listings, it seemed that Tomb of Dracula was the only Marvel title that he really collected, as he's listed a lot of them throughout the years.
  6. FYI, 2010 looks like Bobcat's last year of selling, as he should be finished off selling everything and enjoying his retirement. This is from a prior email conversation.
  7. The one thing I remember about Peter is that he was always complaining that he could never find a nice FF #10 without a printer's crease. I used to PM him once in a while as a joke to tell him I have one only to burst his bubble. Didn't he change his board name to something else?? Or was he something else first and change it to UCLAPeter?? I'm so confused... "uclapeterg" wasn't it? he's been bonds25 for a hella long time now, kids. bonds25 is uclapeterg!!! I had no idea. bonds25 has some hella sweet books. They are different people. Bonds25 is Matt from Escondido, CA and still post occasionally. He post recently here. He dabbles in online poker and was working in a job where he manned the phone lines but I'm not sure if he does it. I have met him before at the SD con. uclapeterg is Peter who is a CPA who last worked in the LA area. They are not the same people. greggy, who knows more than the rest.
  8. http://cerebustv.com/ Current video talks about the counterfeit.
  9. I always do This is only the second time I've done internet bidding. I've always done phone bidding. It looks like upon further review that live bidding will continue on this lot, giving me a chance to overpay even more. I should up my bid. I gave up but since you are bidding on it, I will jack up the price.
