  1. Bought off the rack and read many times trying to scour for clues to Hobgoblin’s identity as the spine tics attest to. Two questions: Do the presence of the Tattooz add to the grade / collectability? Has anybody have an idea what the graphic of the Tattooz are? All the same? Random insertions?
  2. Also bought while collecting back issues in the eighties. Had this one pressed about ten years ago.
  3. Bought this while collecting back issues in the eighties, was read many times and kept in a Mylar bag with no backing…surprised it looks this good. Thanks in advance.
  4. More purchases I made as a kid back in the 80’s. This one also presents well…
  5. More purchases I made as a kid back in the 80’s. Presents well in spite of it’s shortcomings.
  6. ….and just saw in photos two spots on lower right FC…😑
  7. Major defect seems to be the chip on the BC that wants to, but hasn’t yet, fallen off and the dirt on the top left BC.
  8. Bought doubles if the SW series, one to read one to bag. This is the bagged. Black smudges on the splash page are picked up ink from the inside cover.
  9. Appreciate the feedback. I’ve got the full run of ASM 200-285 that I bought of the racks in the 80’s and about 45 issues between #16 - 199. Always boxes and bagged, now trying to figure out which ones to invest in slabbing. Your input is invaluable…
  10. Bought this at the local comic shop in the 80’s, read it two or three times than bagged it. Some cracking along the spine, but otherwise I feel it’s held up pretty well.
  11. Bought this off the rack when I had already stopped reading comics, got it just to have number 300. Read it once bagged it and didn’t see it again until last week. Vertical crease across Spidey must’ve been from the store.
  12. Love the rich colors on this cover. Lots of yellowing on back cover. Wired puckering on front cover in red banner by the words “off-beat issue”.
  13. Another $25 pick up ( in 1984 that was a week’s work of delivering newspapers ).
