When a cover is "wet" cleaned using solvents, water baths, etc. it's considered restoration. When a cover is "dry" cleaned using brushes, erasers, cloth, etc. it is not considered restoration. Neither are like a press, but the wet leads to purple whilst the dry leads to blue (unless there's something hinky like a detached staple or a signature that's not been witnessed....then it it'd lead to a green (qualified) label. That's my understanding, but I'm not an expert. I'm sure there are a billion folks here more knowledgeable than I. Thank you.

I have a question, when is a cover being cleaned considered resto and when is it just like a press and does not lead to a Purple label? Thanks, -Kystix

I also collect JSC GGA. Nice pickup on a ebay raw to get a 9.8! Yours doesnt have any of the blue ink transfer Ive seen on alot does it? And again love reading about your collection. -Kystix

I have only tried to grab all variants of series like Lazarus, Sex, and Alex + Ada, and some other (Image Comics) story I love. Only because there isnt 10-50 per issue. And its hard to complete Variants if there are rare ones for 100+ However I also grab JSC covers all the time, as I love his art. And if a cool, or funny or sexy variant comes my way and not to much money has to be shed, then I shall buy it! And some convention ones if I can get them cheap. (random I know) -Kystix
