  3. I have a Detective Comics #359 in decent shape (6.0-7.0, maybe more w/ a press) but it has a detached second (lower) staple. 1. How much of an impact will this make on a CGC grade? 2. can i still get a blue label? Also, I have a Batman #181 with a loose centerfold. Same questions as above :-) Many thanks for the insights in advance.
  4. D is an exceedingly honorable and good to his word guy. He made an offer in the WTB thread and we were able to quickly close it on the stated terms. PayPal payment was made instantly and the communication is an A+ Prompt, friendly, and honest. Thanks! A
  5. is that thread crapping? might help 'em sell it to someone w/o all the info D-oh!
  6. For storing unslabbed books I really love the white mailer boxes that I bought from uline. Fairly cheap, each one will hold about 20 books in standard bags and boards. Then can be stored vertical or flat without much risk spine damage, much easier to access particular books, fits on shelves nicely and looks great if you add labels, much easier to move then the cumbersome long boxes, etc...
  7. Quick ship & good communication - what more could you ask for? Thanks, Will. Look forward to dealing w/ you in the future

  11. Correct. About 4 to 5 days before the Heritage 6.0 sold, I priced mine for $4500. If I recall correctly, I didn't even get an offer. The HA sold for $4800 and since then, three copies have sold for $7800, $6000 and $6400 So yeah..
  12. hmm... perhaps he might have more luck if he wrapped the book around a sausage?
