  1. My LCS didn't have it in stock at 5pm tonight. I was a little eh on it anyways from the previews I've read.
  2. I actually really enjoyed the pilot. I hope it's a show that sticks.
  3. Nice #57! That's the next big book I'd like to add for myself.
  4. That combines to perfection two of my favorite things - comics and antiques! WELL DONE SIR!
  5. Very easy to buy from! Books came quick and in better shape than listed! A++++
  6. Wow, ok, now THAT I'm jealous of. I love Calvin and Hobbes. Such a huge part of my childhood.
  7. I have 2 of the blank covers. I am in love with this story. It keeps getting better and better. I can't wait to see what happens.
  8. I started reading through this thread and I instantly remembered everything about my favorite toy as a kid. I earned some money through recycling cans and bottles and saved up enough to go to Toys R Us and buy an action figure. I spent like 20 minutes or so looking until I found...the one. And now I'm going to have to buy another one on eBay. This is an A+ thread! http://www.ebay.com/itm/181183939109?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1423.l2649
  9. Woah, those Ikea shelves look great! 3 on each is a perfect amount.
  10. That's kind of a brilliant idea. It's cheaper and you won't be tempted to sell early. Great stash too!
  11. Thanks! Comico was a much beloved indy publisher for us children of the 80s. Primer 2 was THE issue to own from them, and has remained a fan favorite even after 30 years. It was the first appearance of Matt Wagner's Grendel, the character equivalent of, I guess, Wolverine for them. All early Grendel appearances were going for big money back then. But this issue was the crème de la crème. And yes, very cool cover. Black border makes it especially difficult to find without spine tics & creases. Tiny print run as well. All adds up to being a key issue from that era. Thanks for sharing the info with me! I really appreciate it. I love learning something new like this. I'm a 90's kid, but I can definitely appreciate that book! Congrats on landing a big fish for yourself. Enjoy it!
  12. I have no idea why this is a key (I'm new to comics outside of knowing DC and Marvel) but wow, that is an amazing cover and an awesome book! Congrats!
  13. Bought a very nice Marvel Super-Heroes #12 from Aaron. Couldn't be happier with the whole transaction. Very friendly guy and communicates well!
  14. WhiskeyMan - I love your space! The all white in the nice, bright room really pops and the glass door display cases look awesome. And I'm a big fan of Mighty Muggs too!
  15. I love the "Shelves of Slabs." They are so well organized and look great. Well done!
  16. Haha thanks! Thankfully it's not my first forum rodeo. I just like the people who choose all 20 and then just add "sweet" at the bottom. Or "junk" or "drek". Haha I've been lurking here for about a week now and I couldn't figure out for the life of me what "drek" was. I could tell by the context it meant bad, but I actually had to Google it. I felt like I was in middle school again trying to keep up with the newest slang term.

  18. Wow, what an awesome cover and great grade. I love it! Congrats!
