  1. If that isn't a "sell now", I don't know what is. I've sold 5 of them and didn't realize they were selling for more Will try and find more before the well runs out [/quote How much were you selling them for, if you dont mind sharing.
  2. To be fair, it's not mint. You can't expect someone to pay good money for a damaged modern comic. I've seen people buy damaged silver & bronze age keys but not moderns. Of course, that can change over time. Also, was that a BIN? If so, that dont count .
  3. Great Goggly Moggly!! Thats Hoknes, I believe. Hes been selling then on the bay for 350 a pop.
  4. But don't people flock to the most expensive one? It seems to me they do, anyways. Personally I love the hughes cover, is my favorite of all the variants. Rarity will help this one stay in demand down the road.
  5. VenoMJ was a 1:50, on an under-ordered 50,000 print run book. The few variants that do stick are the ones nobody saw coming. Not so much the case here. -J. #real talk WW 40 for example, 1 in 100 was selling for over $375 a few days ago, one even broke the $400 barrier.
  6. All variants will crash..the true king is the Hughes variant, is rarer, plus is adam hughes...nuff said. If harley quinn 1, wish is a 1 in 25 variant can sell for over 100 in raw form, i have no trouble believing the Hughes SG variant will at least still be a $300 a year from now.....Ill go as far and say we got another MaryJane/venom type of variant here....that one was a 1 in 50 correct? EDIT! Just took a loom at ebay, theres A LOT of the hughes listed, wow! Oh well, i wasnt looking to flip my copy.
  7. I dont know if theres 2000 hughes variants out there....but I guess well find out soon enough. Wonder how many will be 9.8s
  8. Picked up my hughes today from the lcs. $60, not too shabby.
  9. Anyone know the print run to this book, UF4?
  10. I thought about getting a phatom variant to wipe my butt, but think ill just use that money and buy the real variant, hughes 1 in 100 and frame it.
  11. More like BS (wildly_fanciful_statement) 12
  12. Deadpool is way overexposed too. Marvel has beaten that variant horse to death. NM 98 went from a $450 book to a $1000 book and everybody went nuts then too. Now it's back down to about a $750 book, with sales as low as $675 recently. That would mean only about a $250 movie bump after all is said and done. Expect about the same, give or take, with BA 12. -J. Keep in mind that theres A LOT more NM98 9.8s than BA 12s in 9.8 Which will be the big difference between these two books, both are currently the hottest comic characters but for rarity alone, i think BA12 will always sell for more than NM98s.
  13. I got a solution, one of you shoukd auction a 9.8 BA 12 here, selling forum, start at .99 amd watxh how high...or low... she can go. Itll be interesting. Shoukd be more entertaining than the colts/bengals game.
  14. Harley was already popular and heating up prior to movie announcement, shes a DC favorite, and without a doubt the modern DC powerhouse character. The movie announcement just pushed her a bit more. I dont think the SS movie will do harley justice, im waiting for the batman movie, that one will send her through the roof if done right.....or if it ever happens. I dont like the value rise only because i want more copies. Harley will always stay in demand and will keep climbing even after the SS movie.
  15. I have my suspisions, theres a 0 feedback bidder, unless is a private account. I agree, about the reserve, set way too high. That SS 9.8 is awesome!
  16. I see, i wonder where he sold it, if online or a "private transaction" Theres a 9.6 currently on the bay, sitting at like 740 now with about an hour or 2 left.
