Wow. Just read #2. Nicely done, Larime.
Thank you!
Look, everyone! A sketch cover!

Anyone in Vegas, or coming to Vegas, next week, Larime Taylor will be making a visit to a couple of shops here.
Wednesday, January 15th - Alternate Reality Comics - 4110 S. Maryland Pkwy. - 10am - 6pm
Thursday, January 16th - Cosmic Comics - 3830 E. Flamingo Rd. - 10am - 6pm
I heard he is supposed to bring some blank covers in.
Indeed! I'm bringing 20 sketch-cover books with me.
-
Damn it! Now I feel like you've politely challenged me.
Off to give it a read.
Pat
I prefer 'passive-aggressive' Let me know what you think!

Can someone give a brief synopsis on this book?
I've flipped thru it a number of times and it doesn't look appealing. But it's clearly got some followers.
Pat
I sum it up as psychological noir. It's definitely character and dialogue over action, so if flipping through it hasn't appealed to you, it might not be your thing. It's a slow-burn, dense book.
Thanks for trying, though!

I get my comics from DCBS monthly so I just got my #2. Holy mess!
I hope that means you liked it?

New sketches. These are about how my sketch box sketches on the backs of books and my sketch cards are coming out now. I think I leveled up!
-
Awesome, and thank you! Nice to meet you as well!
Anyone interested might want to check out the CGC ONLY sale I just listed!
-
Thanks!
#3 sets up the next 5-issue arc, so it'll be closer to #1 than #2.
Here's a two-thirds-drawn page from #4 of Zoey waking up in the morning.

Awesome! Thanks guys!

Bi-weekly?
ARE YOU TRYING TO KILL ME?!
Actually, I totally should, just to off people who always miss deadlines.
Glad you enjoy my work!

Glad you're liking it!
Anyone else read it yet?
-
Soooo...
What did everyone think of #2?
-
Awesome, thanks!
Zoey meets Neville Savage, her new shrink, in issue #3! First new panel I've been able to draw in about 2 months. I still got it.

Selling out pretty fast in the Philly area, my girlfriend read hers before I got to mine and she loved it. Going into it with her rave review, my expectations were quite high and I really didn't care for it. Just don't have a liking for the main character and actually found it boring. But she likes it and she'll be picking it up every month
Hey, no worries! It's not going to be for everyone. Glad to hear she liked it, though!

Fantastic book and I was able to rope some non comic people into reading it and it was enjoyed by all. Keep up the awesome work and I look forward to the rest of the series!
Wow, thank you!
I hope mine came today. They ran late last week.Good luck!

Thanks! Wonder Con, yes! Image Expo, not likely.

For anyone in LA, I'm signing tomorrow at Earth 2 from 4-6pm, and Meltdown from 7-9pm!

Just read the Kickstarter (I was a little late to the party and missed preorders so had to grab one on ebay), and this book is fantastic. Loved the art and the writing is top notch. This is a great book that I will be recommending to everyone and telling my LCS about. Really nice having you here on the boards too Larime!!! Best of luck with the release, you have me hooked.
It's on eBay? How much did you pay?
And thanks!

Cover to issue #4!

Early numbers on #1 are almost 3x what was expected by the publisher, although things can change between now and the FOC.
