It's game-time, so I'm headed to the living room to watch some football with my dad -- but they'll be more to come (likely tomorrow morning) with Iron Man, Justice League, and a lot of Marvel titles starting with "Marvel", lol.

For now, another FLASH SALE!  I normally don't do this, but I'm going to try and put each book with some context.

    Amazing Spider-Man #86 -- 1st appearance of the new Black Widow costume -- VF -- 8.0 -- $200  $145 (Page 1)

This book is underrated, IMO, with the first look at the Black Widow costume that became her staple.

    Strange Tales #178 -- Tongie Farm Collection -- VF/NM -- 9.0 -- $135  $100 (Page 1)

This starts Starlin's Warlock run in the title, which is a classic by anyone's accounts.  The Tongie Farm Collection history to the book is a bonus.  The last graded 9.0 recorded on GPA went north of $200, and even in a slower market, the 90 day average for graded copies is still $135. Good luck finding one raw on eBay -- or anywhere else for that matter -- for this price, I'm guessing.

    The Defenders #17 -- 1st appearance of The Wrecking Crew (cameo) -- NM- -- 9.2 -- $120  $75

Graded copies run well north of $110 in this grade.  MCS has a raw 7.0 for $45.  Nothing on eBay approaches this price.

    Avengers #98 -- NM+ -- 9.6 -- $65  (Page 1)

Not discounted, but considering I plucked this one by accident from Dale's thread, I'm surprised it wasn't claimed at the same price I paid for it by 10 people the minute I listed it. lol hm  $40 at MCS gets you a 8.0.  Graded copies would be $125-$150.  If it's not the 9.6 Dale said it was, it's as close as you can get.  It's a gorgeous book, and if it doesn't sell, it'll go for grading, and we'll put that 9.6 notation to the test.  The Barry Windsor-Smith art is just a bonus.

Those 4 will be on sale until someone claims them, or until I end the sale when new listings start up in the morning.  And just to make things more interesting -- CLAIM ALL FOUR BOOKS FOR $360 :whatthe:  (Offer is no longer valid if/when one of the four is claimed).

Thanks again to everyone who's purchased so far! (worship)  Much more still to come!

Take the ASM 86 and ST 178 please

His First Million Women, Avon 396

Small wrinkles and long narrow dogear FC, interior is nice except for a bit of foxing page 1.
Glossy as all git out, but the covers are both curved a bit,  see the final photo.

Asking $5 strictly on the strength of the title, :D
