  1. Woah!! One of those books is not like the others. Great grabs, SA!
  2. This guy's pretty good to purchase from: https://www.ebay.com/str/buddhasbooksandmusicgear?_trkparms=folent%3Abuddhasbooksandmusicgear|folenttp%3A1&_trksid=p3542580.m47492.l74602
  3. The show is ramping up to a powder keg ending. Most episodes are structured well with a cliffhanger as a cherry on top and this week doesn't disappoint. Can't wait for the finale!
  4. That's a beautiful copy, sir! But find another copy to read. That one's too nice.
  5. Well, I don't recall ever seeing any of those before (but then I'm not a super Heade collector, just a half dozen or so nice copies I've picked up over the years). I do know enough that those 1 schilling books are ridiculously scarce. Nice grabs, sir!
  6. This guy is pretty amazing and he did thousands of covers and movie posters. Can't say enough good things about his work, very underappreciated- Jose Luiz Benicio. I first discovered his work on Spanish pulps like Brigitte en accion and other Archivo Secreto books. https://geekynerfherder.blogspot.com/2019/12/artist-spotlight-art-of-jose-luiz.html https://www.pulpinternational.com/pulp/keyword/José+Luiz+Benicio.html He's clearly been an inspiration to a lot of current artists.
  7. I used to wake up at 6:30 in the morning on weekdays to watch this show in the late 70s. It was awesome! Very cool books, Jeff! P.S. Merry Christmas, sir!
  8. I like your style, pal! In honor of your recovery, I'd like to inspire you with this piece of rarely seen eye candy. Stay strong, James!
  9. You're one of the best, @jimjum12 , really sorry to hear about this. Take care of yourself, pal, and get better soon.
  10. Yep, really enjoying this season so far. Highly recommended, Alan Ritchson has a gravitas that very few actors can bring to the screen. And the producing, directing, and writing are all working in concert.
  11. Great books, Jimbo! I was perusing the Twitter posts of Pulp Librarian and came across this fun image. Obviously not a successful model but I enjoy seeing these attempts. \ If you're looking for a fun, deep dive on all manner of paperbacks and vintage publications, check out their posts. Be warned, it's a very deep dive...
  12. I don't have a copy but I seem to recall that it's a magazine. Both covers are pretty awesome.
  13. Tough book. It's up there with Private Investigator Detective Magazine.
  14. This is a pretty awesome deal for a tough set of books. Great stuff (as usual), David!
  15. I enjoyed it thoroughly. Well structured, simple idea, well developed and executed. Fincher made a number of great choices throughout that help the audience to connect directly with the protagonist, be sympathetic to his cause, and root for his success. I also watched it twice and something interesting stood out:
  16. I really appreciate it when you say nice things about me, in such a nice way.
