  1. My personal experience is that Mylites 4 are bad and dangerous for both removing and inserting books. Those ultra rigid edges are like knives trying to grab onto the cover and damage it in some awful way. Without backing board sounds even worse. I'm with Primetime, 2 Full Backs with Mylites 2 is a pretty awesome setup. 2c

  2. Without a doubt, it would be the Adams & Smith run of Avengers from issue #93 through #100 from my point of view. :cloud9:

I still remember back in the day when Avengers 93 used to be one of the most valuable BA books in the marketplace. Not so much anymore, as it seems to have fallen right off the radar for some reason. Not so sure why since it is part of a classic Kree/Skull Wars story line and coupled with 52 pages and cover artwork by Neal Adams. (shrug)

    +1

    Many books to love

I'm so DC that thinking of Adams on Avengers just seems outlandish to me. Like picturing DiMaggio in a Red Sox uni, that bizarre. I have to admit, though, I am intrigued. Maybe I should look for a reprint of this run.

It's beautiful and an awesome story. One of the Aeams issues has a splash of Triton climbing out of the water onto a dock that is absolutely stunning.

Absolutely, 100% agree. It's an epic storyline. Just wish it had ended better. (thumbs u

  3. The intro of WW was great.............. ^^

Agreed.....plus I love any movie with Batman in it.....he is by far my favorite superhero of all time!!

Glad to see I'm not the only one that got enjoyment out of it. It seems like the expectations are a bit high for what makes a fun superhero movie. Growing up in the 70s and 80s, a movie like this would have been really, really special. Especially compared to the 1990 Captain America movie!

Low bar, I know, but this wasn't really that bad, IMHO.

you cannot compare them....here the budget was unlimited so to speak and the product was by rotten tomatoes 27%...for money the worst movie ever made of course this is one of the most expensive if movies ever made at an admitted 275 million dollars..for what no Brando, Hackman, and Reeve and heck I am taking about a film back in the day 40 or more years old. Zack is hack at 275 million and the greatest miscast in the history of superman villains and at 275 million they could have had ANYBODY in the business.

Mitch, does anybody really watch a movie and then ask how much did it cost to make before doing a cost/benefit analysis over dollars spent? I mean outside of movie Industry people?

I really don't care how much a movie costs to make. I care whether or not it was entertaining. That's all. Plus, I love the original Superman movies with Brando and Reeves. But I wasn't comparing it to those. How about we compare it to Superman 3 or 4? Because those were definitely awesome, right? (shrug) I'm just saying, it's not that bad in the scheme of bad comic book movies.
