  3. The Little People is a tough book in high grade. That was probably a good deal.
  4. Yes, great shop. It's mostly French graphic novels but that's okay because there are some very cool French graphic novels. And most of them are hardcovers. https://www.albumcomics.com/en/
  5. The D-series over 500 are really, tough books. Nice work, Eric!!
  6. Male Annual 3 is punishing to find any copy at all. I think yours is a little nicer than my copy.
  7. A lot of great mags in this thread. Surprised no one has grabbed a couple of these as they're pretty tough books to find in any condition.
  8. You stated it exactly correctly- "permanent solution to a temporary problem" Having known a couple people that ended their own life (and some friends that had family members do so also), one of the most surprising things to me about suicide is that, in many cases, it's an act of both shame and blame. Or put differently, depression and rage. The world has let them down and they're both sad and angry about it. At least one of the people I knew of, left a very angry note behind. It was filled with accusations and blame for people in their life, much of which was just very misplaced. But that didn't stop the family members from feeling really, really awful and responsible for it. Permanently scarred. As you said, sucks all around. OPEN MESSAGE TO ANYONE STRUGGLING WITH THESE THOUGHTS: If anyone reading this is ever in such a dark place, I highly recommend you find someone, anyone, to share what you're hurting over. Tell them as much as you can and listen to their response. Let go of your certainty and try to open up to other possibilities. It's really, really hard, but I promise you won't regret it. It's a big world, and there's always a place to find and restart if necessary. Don't give up, more people care than you probably think.
  9. You know better than anyone how tough that book is in high grade. At most, I think I've owned a half dozen copies over the years, only one of which would meet your exacting standards!
  10. Also, if you think it's bad how many results you get from general names like West and Crime, you should see what I have to sift through when I'm looking for back issues of "All Man" magazine. Takes a little getting used to. (This is an example of what I'm looking for, but a man has to look at a lot of other man material to find it).
  11. Exactly. In order to catch copies in the wild, you have to sift through the phone book on a regular basis. Which I'm prepared to do, if necessary.
  12. Someone just messaged me a pretty valid concern. Curious what others think. If all sales of "Vintage Paper" are quarantined to the Pulp forum, that's a pretty big loss of traffic for potential new collectors to find. Given the increasing interest in these collectibles, seems like it makes some sense to allow old books, magazines, and pulps to still be listed in the GA/SA/BA forum, much like how original art is often sold outside of that forum in the various other sales areas. More exposure is better, IMO.
