  1. I agree Michael, looking forward to the book. And thanks again Billy. Got the old Timely Cap today. Just gorgeous!
  2. Hello guys and gals, I'm pretty new to the community, but love everything it offers! I have been an eBay user since its inception and have had fun with it. You can look me up. My eBay user name is adcuevas and I am nearing 1200 feedbacks, 100% positive without a blemish ever. Pretty proud of it! Well, I hope to have an enjoyable experience here as I already have up to this point! eBay link: http://feedback.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewFeedback2&userid=adcuevas&ftab=AllFeedback
  3. So reading about him, I think it'd be pretty cool to own one of his books for sure. Of course the condition of most of them gives them low values, but it'd still be a cool conversational piece....
  4. Probably a total NOOB question, but what the hell is a Pop Hollinger Rebuilt comic. I keep seeing these on ebay and they usually look pretty beat up. Can someone enlighten me as to what these are? Thanks!
  5. Thanks Peter. I was pretty fortunate to get the Hulk piece direct from Josh before he passed. He was working on another commission for me, but it never got finished. Shoot me an offer...You never know! I've got a similar story. We last met up at the Cincinnati Comic Expo last year. I had dropped off 3 blank sketchcovers for him to do: Wolverine, Hawkeye, and the Hulk. He got started on the Wolverine piece and wanted to put more time into them and asked if he could take them home and mail them to me. I agreed. Unfortunately, he passed a few months later. At Gem City Comic Con this last year, I met up with his wife and she gave me my two blanks back along with the unfinished Wolverine piece. She told me it was the "second to last piece of art he ever worked on". It was definitely a sad meeting. She had a stamp made of his signature and she stamped it for me. CGC got the dates wrong on it, but I don't really care. I really loved Josh's art and he's sorely missed. RIP. Nice story Peter. That is a book you'll cherish forever for sure! Sean Forney was actually trying to get me in touch with Charlotte to try and get the unfinished piece back. I then wanted him to finish it up since they were such good friends. That would have made a very nice conversational piece, but to no avail. I'll still get a pinup done by Sean at some point. He's been doing some exciting things of late. Josh was truly an amazing artist and will be missed!

  7. Thanks Garf. I agree the balloons were a clever addition.
  8. Well, I'm obviously new to this site as it's hard to not notice my join date, but I've been loving everything the site has to offer. I don't know how I got through my workdays before this! Anyway, here are a few of my pieces. The detailed Hulk is a piece by Josh Medors and the old school one is by Herb Trimpe. The Batman and Zombie FF is by Al Rio. And a little Harley for the fire she's on right now! I wish I had a scanner that could scan these as the details are so awesome. My poopie camera pics will have to do for now.
  9. Agreed about Abraham. It's funny though, one mention of Abraham on The Talking Dead in the upsoming season and BOOM! Glad I found 2 NM copies in a box at my LCS last weekend for $6 each...
