Agree Action 1 Tec 27 Sup 1 Bat 1 Marvel Mystery 1 Sell them self in lower grade restored or not. I had my Tec 27 graded by pgx in 07 just so i had a 3rd party grading company grade it and would be a higher sale back than. I have been told to send it to CGC to get graded so i would lose $700 in grading fees I paid pgx and now have to add 3% more to have cgc graded I don't think it would matter if it was pgx 4.5 that it is or cgc 3.5 or even CGC 2.5 the book would sell the same I would tell the new buyer he really should have the book CGC graded. but not on my dime if I am selling I have had over 5 top Dealers over the pre CGC days look at this book and all graded the book in the 4.0 to 5.0 range over the years. I think CGC would put it at a 4.0. Ex

Well all the church books where priced 3 times what they where worth at that time. Dave and i talked a lot in the early 80's and he bought some key books from me like Superman 1. I had a high grade copy unrestored at the time but i also wanted to restore every thing up. These are some pics i have from the early 80's

I talked to him in 1982ish and he had just bought the church copy as I had just bought a copy from E Gerber but did hear he upgraded

you just cant find a copy under 300k with cover and that's for a restored 1.0 to 4.5 don't matter. The Market just don't have enough cop's for the Demand and there are a lot of new collectors that don't care abought money that they can make every day.
